Broke after 6 months- broke further 3 months later.
After using the swing out storage box for about 6 months, I noticed it was swinging while driving. I tried to reattach it to the bracket before I realized the handle wasn’t visible. When I swung it out, the plastic hardware that holds handle was broken off. It’s a shame that a nice, functional product is susceptible to a small plastic part rendering the whole thing useless.***EDIT*** A couple months later, after strapping the swinging toolbox to the side of the bed, the hinge is failing. This thing has quickly become more of a hindrance. I’m afraid I’ll have to find a new solution soon.
