What's not to love? It's a DW, with the quick release cymbal locks and quick release adjustment lever for the ball on the boom end. Sweet stand, just know that you are likely stronger than that plastic lever, and you will break it if you force or tighten it beyond its capability. If you are hitting cymbals so hard that you think you need to tighten it THAT much, you don't. The ball lock has teeth that grab. Be reasonable with the force and this stand will likely outlast you.

dw hardware is really the highest quality you can get. This stand is fully adjustable in the most minute ways allowing me to get things exactly where i want them in tight setups of cymbals. double braced is a little excessive for my needs as a club date guy but it's nice to have the extra support for minimal cost. these stands are great value and absolutely perfect in every way.

I have a DW5000 boom stand on one side and decided to add this one on the other side of my kit since it was a bit more affordable and I didn't need something quite as beefy over there. I will say, the diameter of the tubing on this stand is great, BUT it's definitely lighter weight than the 5000 series, which is to be expected. Honestly, it's more than enough for any crash and great for rides as well. The quality is what I'd expect from any piece of DW hardware with amazing adjustment points, memory locks all over and I love the long adjustment handle on the top tilt point. Basically, if you need a great quality stand at an amazing price point, buy this! You won't regret it!
