Duel deeds! Awesome!
I have an OBD2 OBDII Car Tester/Adapter Bluetooth-paired to my Phone and also an In-car Wifi Adapter that plugs into this OBD2 OBDII Port and paired to my phone. I find myself needed to switch off between the two from time to time for use as intended. but then I wondered if I could Build a Splitter so as to use them both at the same time and drew up a wiring schematic to put one together! But, apparently, someone already beat me to it! (Damn-Them!) LOL! ..Well any'who, I purchased this Splitter and it works exactly as envisioned! Now I can leave both modules plugged in at the same time where they're always ON and available as needed! ...This was indeed a good damn Purchase! I must say that I like this freaking thing! :-)

Handy adapter when doing OBD2 development or when you need two devices.
Looks well made and works with no problems. I use it when doing OBD2 development to monitor the bus traffic.

Works, but doesn't fit mount as expected.
These work, but I had purchased what I thought was this make previously and the jack looked to be identical in the picture BUT will not stay securely snapped in to the cars mount like the original OBD connector did. This is aggravating as I was trying to add an accessory without it being obvious and just snap the second jack into the cars metal mount, but the plastic tabs are just ever so slightly different and it simply does not snap in and stay put. I also tried this one on two different cars with metal and plastic mounting and encountered to same issue. So I'm not totally satisfied!

Works great!
I bought this after installing my Pioneer receiver that can read engine codes and other data. It works as described. Just pop the original hardness out from the frame and pop this adapter in and then plug the original back in to one of the ports and tuck in up behind the dash area. You can't tell there is a splitter installed.

Connectors on cable were two tight for secure/flush fit (Returned to Amazon)
Didn't work for my Honda Fit 2018. It's clear from the pictures that the two male plugs at the top of the Y are slightly different. Only one of them could connect securely with my GPS Car Tracker (Vyncs). The other one seemed two small/tight or the pin configuration wasn't proper. I'm clueless as to the design specification differences between these types of plugs and can't find info online. ODB2 is supposed to be a 'universal' plug but this cable proves otherwise. I do know there's an 'A' and 'B' type plug for different voltages but they should still fit each other similar to a DVI Monitor cable and it's many revisions. Also the Female port at the base of the Y cable was two tight and couldn't attach securely to the ODB2 Male in the car. I'd avoid this cable if you know as little as I do about the ODB2 spec.

Never gotten a bad one!
I've purchased half a dozen of these over the past year and they've always suited me well! The two connectors are great to match with an OEM one and it installs just like the regular OBD2. Perfect for hiding wireless dongles, trackers.. etc.
