Quality Issue
The product has very nice features but sadly in my case, this thing only worked well for a month and then noticed the display just started blinking on and off and it would only work back normally if I remove the power source for 2 hours but then after less than an hour of charging, there it goes again, blinking on an off.

Compact Battery Charger perfect for the job
I settled on this charger after going through many reviews of several on the market. Its a perfectly good charger allowing you to manually charge at ½ an amp or fast charge at 1.0 amp if you require at a touch of a button . It has other info flashing up info if you really want to get into it . But at the end of the day the auto select of your battery type dose its job as Ive tried several types to see if it works .. Allowing you to just plug in & go .. & if you really cant wait boost your battery up in no time at all on the fast charge setting . It looks & feels well made & its compact enough to slide in a draw. It comes with a car charging socket .. Ive not tried this .. but Im sure it works as it should. The only down side to it is the positive point connector could do with a slightly different shape. As the small triple (AAA) style batteries dont quite sit in first time around so you have to fiddle to get in line .. I'm sure its part of making it universal ,, but its not quite right .. The battery sits in the air so can easily sit on an angle & not quite make a contact or go out of contact when you turn your back . Larger batteries no issues whats so ever . ** That's it .

Unexpectedly amazing
Ok, bear with me. I was initially disappointed as the batteries don't seem to click into the charger as well as other chargers; they wobble in the groove. BUT this device has paid for itself in unexpected ways.I had at least a dozen each of AA and AAA batteries which would not charge any more, and I was keeping them aside to do the car battery jumpstart revival trick (Google it!).However, I noticed that if I put these batteries in this charger but slightly askew so that the connection is not straight on ... It charged! Once a battery has been in this position for a while the charger will then accept it straight on in the charger without showing an error. So, this is an amazing product for odd reasons. I don't know why this worked, but feel free to make suggestions or share your experience with itI ended up with just a single AA and a single AAA battery which could not be revived. There were several brands of batteries involved.Over to you!Great product!

Quality charger
Brilliant charger, high quality construction, does not look or feel cheap. Has enough features and no more which makes it very easy to use. I use it for AA batteries, it is completely silent in operation and charging on the 0.5A setting (default) charges much quicker than my Duracell charger. The reason I upgraded to this is the ability to charge 1,2,3 or 4 batteries at a time. The Duracell charger was limited to 2 or 4.The screen shows the amount of charge in each battery by way of a segmented battery symbol. It does not show the amount of mAh that is in each battery, only the current mA charging setting (0.5A or 1A). This is not a deal breaker as the screen also shows the current voltage in the battery, and the total charge time (not time remaining). Once each battery is fully charged the segmented battery symbol for each battery shows full. Overall very pleased.

Good Charger with 4 independant charging cuircuits, however, some caveats
This review is written after using the product for 2 months.I was looking for a 4 cell charger with seperate independent charging systems per cell to charge both my 3.7 18650 (flat top) batteries that I use for for various stuff as well as my 1.2V NiMH (low drain) batteries, at at least 1000mAh, and uses AC (rather than USB power) due to the higher current (max around 4A/20W with four 18650 cells), but also able to be powered by a 12V charger for use in the car. This is to replace my faulty 2 cell USB powered charger, that had a semi independant charging system.Independant charging is important to me. Its a must for LiIon, but also extremely important for NiMH (many Nimh chargers charge in pairs or even 4s, and can be sub optimal if the cells have different capacities which common as no two cells can be manufactured exactly the same, and different cells can wear/discharge differently)TDLR, this appears a very decent and capable charger, with a few caveats to note. The Good:- This Charger does have 4 independent charging cuircuits, that individually provide the correct current and volatge required to each cell based on its type and available capacity, and individually switches off when complete. Of course there is a single step down (understandable) and a single master controller for the screen and for monitoring all the individual cuircuits (which is also understandable)- The current is switchable from 500mA to 1000ma on a per cell basis (you can have some at 500 and some at 1000). It does always start at 500mA irregardless of what was set previously, but can be then switched to 1000. At first I was annoyed with always having to switch, but now after reading up, I do understand the rational. Generally charging at a lower current can prolong the life of a cell over a larger current, so defaulting to a lower current makes sense as that should usually be the normal, with the option to raise if needed. Secondly charging at a lower current is likely to be safer. As such I do not see this as a negative, but you may personally decide differently.- the Charger clearly displays the current charging/battery voltage, during the charge as well as the actual current delivered (reduces to 0 when done). It also displays the runnign time, and stops the counter when done, so you will see exactly how long it took to reach the fully charged state. All of this is on a per cell basis.- the charge bars seem to be fairly linear, unlike some chargers, where they appear somewhat non-linear.- the charger fits a broad range of battery sizes. I have charged 18650 (flat top and non flat top), AA, and AAA (though see bellow for some major caveats)- you can mix the battery types in each compartment (independent charging)- detects incorrect polarity and stops chargingThe Bad:- Manual is very thin, and certainly will leave questiosn for inexperienced users- The light is blue and bright, which can keep you awake if used on a bedside table. I have made a small plastic cover to cover just the display at night- poor viewing angles of the LCD- Does not auto select LiPoly batteries automatically. These are detected as LiIon, and have to be manually changed to LiPoly. Not an issue for me as I dont charge LiPoly batteries here, but may be an issue for others. The Ugly:** Note, all the points bellow this applies not just to this device, but possibly most chargers of this type that charges multiple battery types, including my previous one, and many of the cheap 1 cell chargers you sometimes get thrown free with batteries.- When charging batteries smaller than the diameter of an 18650 (AA/AAA), its hard to keep the cell flat at the bottom, and maintain a stable contact with the contacts on the charger, sometimes preventing detection and not charging. To avoid this, I find the battery has to be raised up so it aligns witht he contact points of a 18650, and the springs on the contact generally "keep" it there. I find this rather precarious, and probably worrying for most people. There shoudl have been a way to faction the contacts to work across the different sized whilst keeping it pressed down.- Exposed contacts. The contacts on the negative end are exposed, which together with the above issue, and the fact that there is no cover for the charger, may be a short cuircuit risk if something conductive was to fall on this. Its possibly unlikely, and the internal protection woudl probably detect it. A better designed negative contact with insulation on the top and back would help here. Again this is common on many universal chargers of this type, but thats not an excuse.- strong spring in negative contact. in order to hold the battery and give a consistant contact, especially when raised as described above, the spring on the negative contact is very strong, and as such the battery can pop/fly out when being removed. I personally dont like the idea of LiIon batteries flying around! Again this is another thing common with many/most of this type of universal charger.

Excellent charger - used it for vape batteries
Great product. Had a cheaper 2 battery version and started to wonder why batteries were indicating as fully charged (on charger) yet only lasting short amounts of time. Having bought new batteries, established the cheap charger was issue.Bought this as a replacement, very effective. Charges 3000mAh batteries in around 4.5 hrs and effectively. Clear screen, handy car adapter for travelling and ability to charge up to 4 batteries at same time. Not the cheapest out there but when you factor in having to replace the cheap charger you previously bought that’s useless, it’s fair value. This was purchased outright by me - not a promotion or anything etc.Overall, would recommend this product.
