I'm not the kind of person to scoop every time she poops, or every day for that matter. I do, however, scoop every two to three days and I must say it doesn't matter the length of time the elements have affected her poop, the little rake flips it right up onto the shovel from my Bermuda grass. Makes light work of doo duty! I'm 5' 3" and there's a couple inches to spare on the length of the handles, great investment.

I bought this online as I needed something quickly. The price was right and it was shipped super fast. When I got it, was shocked by how small the box was as it was in pieces you have to put together. Putting it together is super simple and the claps hold together well. I recommend this scooper for little dogs if you're going to use it long term. I bought this for a 13 pound dog but probably couldn't get as much use out of it for my 100+ pond dogs for day to day cleaning. I don't think it would last as long for a large dog. This would actually be convenient for travel since it comes apart, granted obviously you'd need to clean it, but definitely lightweight and portable. The rake picks up poop easily and you can fit quite a bit in the receptacle before needing to dump it.

Very small. We have two dogs who do their business in the yard. We employe a guy who comes a week to scoop and takeaway the dog poop but in the summer when we are outside playing and enjoying the yard we like to keep it picked up daily. Our old scooper broke so we bought this as a replacement. It’s durable, and sturdy but again very small. We have to empty it several times during a single day of clean up.
