This is a fun game. Better than I thought. It can get tricky. It will help teach your child strategy as you have to ensure your “house’s” square touches fully on one side to another house’s square. It’s fun.

The game was fun It is easy to play and worth the money

I got this for an 11 year old who is obsessed with both Harry Potter and trying to get his little sisters to play games with him. This was an absolute hit. He and the 8 year old sister showed no mercy. The 5 year old had adult help but still had fun. It’s just connect 4 with tiles and more players.

Harry Potter is its own beast and has moved faraway from just being a series of books. The name is placed on almost anything under the guise of his wizarding world. The issue over the years is that not all of it lives up to the standard of the original books and films. This 'Hogwarts Houses In A Row Game' is an official toy, but it has nothing to do with the original source save for the use of the Hogwarts Houses.The game is like a board less 'Connect 4', you must place four of your house tokens in a row to win. The game is best played with four players as this makes it a challenge with each player blocking the offers. It is fun for a few games, but more of a distraction than something you will keep coming back to. The bigger issue is the pieces are on card that frays a little. The quality is not what you would expect from the IP. This would make a decent aside for a Potter fan, but there are better games and toys that wear the name and do it proud.
