Frustrating pole design and cheap materials
The pieces of the pole fit but as soon as you go pick it up out of the hole it falls apart into pieces.. It was very frustrating trying to always piece back together. It seems to needs to be resigned with snaps to hold it in place. Also the printed number should of been on both side not cheaply on one side..aaaaaand the cheap rope that holds the flag on tears off so you basically have half the flag on.. only lasted 6 months if that..

UP GRADE to a better product
The pole is in sections and fall apart when you pick it up. Was disappointed with the construction of the pole.

It took 2 days for the tops plastic loop to break off
It looks cool in the yard but the top plastic eye bolt broke in two days. We didn't have any out of ordinary winds either. I would say never over 30 mph. I have had to go buy a metal eye bolt and try to insert it. Also, if they could devise a way to pull the pin when you are putting towards it without all the connections coming apart, that would be cool too. Just the facts here....still want to keep it in the yard cause it looks good.

Bought this about 6 months ago, or so. The sun has already started to cause the flag and string fasteners to deteriorate.Arizona UV is tough but, a product that is typically installed outdoors, should be UV resistant. The flag definitely is not.

Problems right from the start
This set was pretty terrible. First, while the cup is regulation size, the hole for the flag pole is not, meaning only their flag will fit in it. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but I didn't realize it. Speaking of the pole, it is made of steel and is segmented. The problem is that the segments have no mechanism to lock together. It is possible that banging the segments the rest together will wedge them, but I didn't try that. I just wrapped the joints in packing tape. So I install the cup in my practice green and had been using for a couple of months. I went out to relocate the flag only to find that the strings you use tie the flag to the pole were literally disintegrating. One set had already broke loose, and while I was trying to somehow re-tie them, the other 2 just fell apart.Overall, this set was basically a waste of money.
