How can voice assistant be completely disabled? Every time I bump the left ear cup, while sleeping or doing yoga, it disrupts whatever is playing.

JBL Customer Service continues to advise people to disable voice assistance in the My JBL Headphones app. As of at least December 2022, there is no My JBL Headphones app available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store -- only a "JBL Headphones" app whose settings no longer permit you to disable any voice assistance. You can switch from Alexa to Siri with an iPhone, but you can turn neither off. Choosing Alexa to avoid Siri integration only gets you repeated reminders (through a voice in the headphones) that Alexa must be activated.

What is the difference between active noise cancelling and adaptive noise cancelling?

Active Noise Cancellation helps to reduce background and surrounding noises. While Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation will automatically adjust noise-canceling levels in real-time, 50,000 times per second to account for environmental ambient noises and personal attributes such as movement, hair, and eyeglasses to deliver best-in-class Noise Cancelling and immersive sound in any environment.

Are the electronics functional when using wired?

When using the Aux/Audio cable, the electronic functions of our JBL Live 660NC will not be activated as the headphones will act as passive headphones when wired.

Is the Soundstage wide and detailed, and is the separation impeccable?

Our Live 660NC has a Frequency Response range of 16 Hz – 20 kHz. The space and environment of sound will still depend on the user's preference.
