The L-CIV-C is a wired fully digital portable Chairman conference unit perfect for permanent or temporary meetings with speech, voting and/or language interpretation. The unit is equipped with a microphone On/Off or request-to-speak button, two (2) headphone outputs with a single channel selector & volume control and five (5) voting buttons with a voting result information display, allowing the delegate of a conference to speak, request-to-speak, listen to the speaker, vote and listen to interpreted audio. The microphone units are interconnected in a daisy-chain network using shielded Cat5 STP (or better) cabling with RJ45 connectors. The connections are hidden in the base of the unit and the cables are conveniently held in place by the units housing. The unit features a next in line and priority button for the ability to remotely control and manage the delegate units within the system. The chairman unit can adjust the overall system volume in addition to the operator via a web based set up application built into the wireless access point for the system. The microphone button is located between two LEDs to indicate whether the unit is on (RED) or in the request-to-speak queue (GREEN).
