DO NOT BUY!
If I could leave zero stars I would. This product did not grow at all. I received the pods and they looked like wet moldy dead bugs. I tried to request a refund but I have thrown away the seeds due to the fact I did not want them contaminating my other plants. I planted the seeds and they did not grow at all. I want a refund for the money I wasted on this.

It's nice to try something new
I bought these on a whim. Thought they looked neat. They arrived in a tiny bag with very vague instructions. I started them in little starter pots I got at home depot and set them in a north facing glass door, slightly elevated off the floor. It was February. I was expecting 10 bulbs but there were a few more, some did not look like they would grow. They were slow to sprout and some were much slower. All sprouted. They were lanky until they were put outside and then they flourished. The leaf color is not the vibrant purple but a darker shade. Reminds me of a potato vine in color. They are nice and full. Gifted some, kept some. Some are in shade/part shade and doing fine. Some are in West facing 1/2 day sun and are fine until it got extremely hot. Then they discolored a bit but still going good and continuing to bloom. Very happy with this purchase. If they don't winter well I will purchase again.

Bad luck
I love this plant so much and I'm disappointed because it didn't grow or do anything! The bulbs were so tiny and didn't look healthy when I opened the package. I went ahead and put them in potting soil hoping they would survive. I must have gotten bad bulbs?!

Healthy Seeds
I was somewhat skeptical about ordering these seeds based on previous reviews. Upon receiving them, I promptly planted them. It took approximately two weeks to see growth from a single seed. I must admit, I was somewhat apprehensive about the others' potential growth. However, I continue to water and monitor it, and a month post-planting, the plant is growing beautifully and healthily.

Misled
Did not know, #1, that I was going to get an envelope with "bulbs" in it. thought I was going to get an actual plant. #2, they don't look like what's on the website. They're dirty and look like they have white mold on them.

No instructions low germination
Arrived March 5 planted filling day. . Only 3 out of 10 germinated.Item arrived on time & packaged well. No planting instructions included so a beginner would need to research things. This should have paperwork with how to plant & type of containers, & soil to use.I’m not pleased with the results.

It takes time
Purchased in May of 2023. Review added in Aug of 24.Beauty takes time. The first full cycle of seasons I had moderate success. Moving into the spring of 24 the plant had gone dormant inside the house.I wanted to repot, the plant did what it does and the sizes of the bulbs had doubled and tripled. I separated the tiny bulbs and ended up with 2 BEAUTIFUL, FULL, HEALTHY and LARGE POTTED BASKETS.We gave one to my mother in law and kept the other for ourselves."Medusa" is more than 24 inches wide I will add an additional photo with a measuring tape at a later time if I remember. Upkeep is pretty basic.I keep her indoors when its below freezing and water 1 or 2 times a week. Outside in the summer she seems to like partial sun in a mostly a shaded area. I only water after several days of high heat and no rain. Otherwise the plant and mother nature are a great team.Growing anything takes time and patience. Give them both and you won't be disappointed.Colors are magnificent, leaves are strong stems are sturdy!

Be very patient
I gave this for stars because you really have to be patient with them. They are very temperamental. I have five different plant pots with them. I have some in my windowsill with a shade on my window. They require a lot of water, but they are beautiful and they bloom beautiful little white flowers, they do require a little bit more water than my other plants
