Great quality house for my pit. Easy to install

This house works great for shelter from the rain if the wind isn't blowing towards the door. Our puppy likes to lay by the front door, but his heated house is on the opposite side of the house. We set this up for him so he had shelter during the day. It isn't cold weather friendly. We have a dog bed inside for him and it is large enough for him to be comfortable, but if this was his only shelter, he would perish. We had to reinforce all the screws nuts and bolts but it is a good looking doghouse and he loves it. We live in rural south central Wisconsin.

I wish my husband and I made a video, but half of it would be bleeped out. My husband (who has assembled all kinds of things (Ikea) glanced at the instructions. First, you have to assemble the roof, lol. If you survive this, next comes the walls. My husband didn't study the instructions. So we got one wall up, then the other, then like a house of cards it collapsed. After numerous attempts, I got my glasses and read the instructions. After much yelling and screaming, he listened to me and followed the instructions. Wow, what a difference. After we got it together (no it still wasn't easy), you are suppose to screw it together and then put the floor on. My husband insisted we put it on the floor and then screw it together. This worked well as the base tends to hold it in place while screwing it together. It rained heavy today and I check it and no leaks. I am very satisfied with it. My lab mix has plenty of room. I crawled inside to check it, I had plenty of room. We have had wooden dog houses in the past and after 2 - 3 years they start to deteriorate due to South Florida weather. I decided to switch to plastic and hopefully will get more years out of it.

It’s a little bit of a pain to get together but the key is get the screws in as you go. This is the 3rd one we have had 2 for over a year and they have been great so expecting the same from this one. I can not say how waterproof they are as our are under a patio cover.

This dog house is quite Large, it’s a good size for our Labs. The plastic is so thin, and flimsy. It’s not going to last very long, for the price I paid it should have been a better quality. Wanted to send it back, they said they accepted returns, what it didn’t say is that I had to pay for shipping. Shipping was almost as much as the dog house. Would not recommend to anyone.

The walls were thin so I bought some Reflectix BP24010 Series Foil Insulation, 24 in. x 10 ft and sealed the top and and two sides. Someone said walls were hollow and could accept spray insulation. WRONG. I have no idea what they were looking at and would be surprised if they actually put this house together themselves.I bought a Pecute Pet Heating Pad Safe Electric Heating Pet Mat for Dogs and Cats Warming Mat with Chew Resistant Cord and Waterproof Layer (2 Covers, L: 19.7'' x 25.6''). I drilled a hole on front bottom where cord would be able to reach outdoor outlet easier. Put cord and pad in before attaching bottom.My floor came damaged. One of the bottom feet was broken. I melted the parts back and used thick double sided tape to keep the foot in. Otherwise it will bend with too much weight. Again, it is a plastic dog house so do not expect much but it looks better than an igloo.

We just tore down an old dog house for are big dog. I was a little worried that this house wasn’t big enough but this XL dog house was perfect for our outdoor dog who is around 95-100lbs. She has plenty of room to lay down to include her stuff animals and balls to which she stores with her.

We had 70 mph winds that ripped down the chain link fencing of the pen but this little house didn’t get any damage from it!

Great kennel easy to set up, good quality value for money my dog loves it, just hope he does not start chewing it!

Nice a roomy for my BT to walk in upright and it's like his little den...plenty of space to turn around...he absolutely loves it!
