Magnavox MWD2206 DVD/VCR Combination Player (Renewed)

I own a total of three of these now, my original one and two of these renewed ones. The two renewed ones both work perfectly, I can't make any complaints at all. But I will say the most recent one I got was more complete than the first: it came with the actual correct remote control not a universal one, it also came with an interconnect and an analog to HDMI converter with cord. A VERY NICE FEATURE, GUYS! And I'll bet it only cost them a few extra bucks to do that and make this customer very happy. In addition it was well packed in the Box with a heaviest most industrial duty bubble wrap I've ever seen in my life!! This one cost a little more than the first one I bought about a year before, but the extra cost was worth it.

As described and pictured. Looks brand new. Came with all the cables, etc. Simple set up instructions. Very, very well packed. Arrived before last due date. Good communication on shipping. happy with purchase.

This refurbished combination VCR/DVD player hasn’t worked well since it arrived. The VCR part has run like it’s supposed to. However, I’ve tried using it with brand new DVDs and some used ones that I have. Sometimes the player works fine, but more often than not a scene freezes, then that keeps happening until you get so frustrated with it, you have to quit. The machine isn’t reliable - the picture often pauses, gets botched up looking, and even won’t continue no matter what button I press. It has been a frustration from the get go. Very disappointed with it and wish I could get a refund or exchange. Would never buy a refurbished player again.

I have so many vhs tapes if my children when they were little and now I can watch them. I haven't seen one in video for several years. I'm excited..

It played my VHS tapes very well. I watched my late wife and I go down the aisle in the church, and all of our senior family members we lost. Old friends who disappeared. A warm and charming experience with my 3rd such machine. Thanks for making this unit available.

This was a Christmas present. I am so glad I found it and didn’t have to pay $600 for a new one. It works perfectly. He was very happy.

I had a bunch of old VHS tapes and wanted to convert them to digital format. This plus a converter has done the trick! It's working well. But I did have to get a cleaner tape. These old tapes are in bad shape and got the heads dirty pretty quick. So far so good!
