Excellent blower fan to handle 3x3 and 2x2 tents with ease. GGS controller and smart phone app utilization makes control a breeze. There are a lot of power level settings through the smart phone app, as well as timer cycles, humidity/temperature cycles, etc. Options galore! We have been using this fan to exhaust our grow tent and it is powerful… it arrived well packaged in a box with the sensor unit and monitoring screen in a separate box within the package. It came with instructions and recommended variations as to how one could set it up in a grow tent as there are several possibilities though with the easy setup one could get the job done. We wanted this particular fan because of the smart features and control it allowed us to have to boost our grow to the next level. We feel like this is a next level fan in general as it has had the power to exhaust even larger grow tents than other fans/tents we have used. Back to the fan lol… the reason why we are a fan of this fan is it has literally allowed us more time to work on the plants without having to worry as much about the environment as it has ten different speeds which automatically change to adjust the environment of our grow room, and to our specifications maintaining a healthy environment with on point humidity/temperature levels. We placed the sensor in with the ladies (plants) and tested it with our hygrometer, seeing it was on point and the way it was delicately packed with a thick clear plastic protective film over the sensor, was overall satisfied with that aspect and in general. We connected it to ducting and a carbon filter as it has the power to scrub the air clean through our exhaust system, and am pleased to say it is extremely quiet for a such a powerful fan… compared to other exhaust fans was worth it because we have had more time to do other things in the garden which require more attention as it allowed us to have a hands free monitoring system for not a bad price. It has pulled its weight in value as you can see ;)

Very power fan does the job most of the time on 25 to 30% the controller works but you still have to monitor it. The excitement of opening it kinda fell off when this was the 2nd purchase of spiderfarmer product that I made and no cool stickers but whatever 4 stars for product you lost one for the stickers

GGS controller didn’t come with power cord. No response from anyone about it. Even emailed spider farmer. I also didn’t get the metal bracket to mount it on the tent. Contacted spider farmer and they have been just giving me the run around. Don’t buy from them. If they won’t even cover the tiny stuff imagine if you had a real concern with a large expressive item. DO NOT BUY From this company. The blower stopped working after two weeks. Spider farmer said that’s normal and offered me a $10 coupon.

I’ve been running a 6” hydrofarm in-line fan for years. But it only had a speed control that I used in conjunction with a timer. This is spider farmer is light years beyond it! Its probe gives me all the information I need and the control panel is easy to use and see. The instructions are adequate but can be a bit confusing at first due to being able to set so many modes. It can do more than what I require right now but gives me room for growth. Light weight and easy to install. Has two channels out so I imagine you can run another fan if needed. Quiet and works perfectly!!! Highly recommend!

Hab es jetzt 2 Wochen im Einsatz, bis jetzt alles tiptop, läuft leise, hat power und ist mit der App sehr gut zu steuern. Vor allem jetzt nach dem Update ist es noch intuitiver. Wirklich gut. 👏🏻 hab mal einen 5 mal so teuren Controller von Growbase gehabt, da gefällt mir dieser hier von den Einstellmöglichkeiten etc. eindeutig besser. Von der Haltbarkeit her, werd ich meine Rezension in 1 Jahr noch mal aktualisieren.

I have a couple competitor fans that are of similar style, they either run full speed or have an analog turn dial speed controller, all are 4", I'd say the Spider at 50% puts out almost as much air as the others on full speed. I'm using it to pull air from a server rack, my temporary installation of the fan, it's a bit louder than it should be because of my ducting on one side and the lack of it on the other, plus it's 22" away from my head. Back to the controller, I like how you can can control lights, vent fan, blower fan, not that I'm using the others, but it's nice it can be done from one spot. I'm doing it by temp, I set 40% always on speed and a ramp up to I think 60% above 28C. Once it's in final home I'll tweak the settings a bit more. If I had to list 2 "wishes". 1. i wish I would have gotten the model with the mounting cradle vs the sling. 2. I wish the fan ramp up was more of a ramp up, like a PWM in a computer where ok it's at 40% and 24C, oh it's 25C now, lets ramp up the fan a little to say 45% to see if it'll bring them temps back down rather than wait til 28C and instant full 60% or 100% if that's what you set it to.

Erg makkelijke en krachtige ventilator! Met degelijke controller en erg licht van gewicht. Loopt traploos op en af, makkelijk in te stellen en doet wat ie moet doen. Weinig geluid ten opzichte van de normale afzuigers.

My fan did not come with an mounting bracket.
