The bell is easy to attach to a harness - did cut off the small sack it came in - loud enough to be heard and not so pound it bothers our dog - highly recommend

Product does not include even basic instructions for how or where to attach it to the bear. I can confirm definitely avoid its neck and/or paws. I intend to demand full refund when I'm released from the hospital and have regained use of my arms.

this works very well and we especially like the bag that's included so if you don't need the bell to make a sound you can simply slip it in the bag.

Our search and rescue dog "Boy" loved the sound of the Bell and would get mad if we removed it from him or covered it to silence bell.It does warn Bears to help avoid you, but always carry other measures to use to protect yourself from Bears.When hiking the sound it makes on the trail alerts others hiking to your presence.

Love the bear bell concept, and magnet to stop the bell ringing, but the mesh bag containing the magnet is horribly annoying to use!

I thought that this would be a good deal since it came with the carabiner attachment. I trust it better than Velcro and is easy to attach to my backpack. Happy so far!I left one of this item in my “shopping cart” and was having trouble sending the order. A glitch on Amazon’s end, I’m sure. However, a few days later, I received a reminder from Amazon but was astounded to see the price had gone from $4.95 to $11.45! Not worth it at a that price.
