Yes. To lessen the weight of the handles. Simply unscrew the cap at the end of each handle and remove the stainless steel weights. Alternatively, you can also insert your own desired metal weights to get the balance that is right for your workout.

Is this manufactured in China?

Yes, designed in the U.S.A. by professional athletes, coaches and trainers and manufactured overseas. Ours and many products from companies like Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, and Apple are indeed manufactured in China. China has a robust manufacturing infrastructure that produces goods for global brands. Companies often choose to work with top-rated factories in China to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in their production processes. This approach allows them to tap into China's skilled labor force and established supply chains to create products that meet, and sometimes surpass, international standards.
