how long should it take a qualified engineer to install and connect up one of these?

Good Morning, Thank you for your question. As installations can vary a lot depending on individual circumstances we are unfortunately unable to provide an estimated installation time. Kind Regards.

Is this compatible with a iboost so excess solar energy is controlled and how much is given ie 500w/1000w ect

Dear Customer, Please note that our unit must have 240vac 3kw (13amps) as per the extract from the manual. You should also talk to your installer for further guidance, in order to understand the capabilities of the Iboost. At you disposal for further Support. Thank you. Regards.

Hi, in case of a power failure will it resume heating water when power comes back or will I have to switch it back on and/or reconfigure it? Thanks

Hello, Thanks for your question. The water heater will resume heating water as soon as power comes back. You don't need to reconfigure it. At your disposal for furter info/details. Regards.

if this were to just feed a shower, would i need a thermostatic mixer or could it be connected directly to the shower head

Good Morning, Thank you for your question. You would still want a mixer for your shower application as you would otherwise get hot water directly from the water heater with no option of regulating the temperature. Best Regards.
