Yes. I have 10 fixtures running off 1 receiver with dmx cables between.

Can it be used send sound from dj controller to speakers

It does not send any kind of audio. It's specifically designed to send/receive DMX data only.

How many recharge cycles do they have? And are the batteries replaceable?

I have been using for over a year now and not seen any degradation in battery life through probably ~30 cycles. The unit does not have a user replaceable battery (no access door etc.) although if you crack it open I suspect there is a cell of some sort that could be replaced if you are comfortable with electronics repair.
