Caran d'Ache Ballpoint Pen 849 Black Code

This is a great pen, overall the feel is smooth and luxorious, while being very functional. I loved the matt black effect and look. I personally feel that the clicking could be better, as it is not very smooth, but great pen overall.

カランダッシュ3本目です。本体だけではなく、ケースもブラックで驚かされました。書き心地、ゴリアット芯について今更私が書くこともありませんのでデザインについてだけ書かせて頂くと程よい重量感があり、握りやすく黒で統一されたデザインは見た目にも美しい。専用のブラックケースを開けた時に、正直心がトキメキました。使わない時に、飾っておくだけでも楽しめる一品です。デザインというのは、人それぞれの好みでしょうが私はカランダッシュのデザインや色合い、使い勝手が大好きでしたのでこれからも買い続けてしまうかもしれません（笑）あまり参考にならない意見かもしれませんが、現時点でAmazonで3,700円で買えるボールペンの中ではコスパとしては良い方だと思いますよ！

The ink doesn't dry up like the gel based chinese junk mostly sold these days. Very lightweight, precise and elegant. The ink refills is solid metal swiss made.

Own a few 849’s now and recently added the black code to the roster, a great pen that feels well made and writes beautifully. If you like 849’s you’ll like this one, the Matt black coating is thin and sleek and the mechanism is solid but quiet (good for idle pen clicking without winding up the office). The new black code is competing for my favourite pen with the special edition silver/metal 849 which I’ve had for several years now.

Not my first Caran d'Ache pen, but this one now is my favorite. It has all the great qualities expected of Caran d'Ache; light weight, comfortable grip, smooth writing, anti-roll polygon body, silent click, plus an added uniqueness of an all black-on-black-on-black finish. Also, as a collector of fine writing pens, I must comment that it comes in one of the nicest cases I have ever had a pen come in.
