A wonderful Christmas read full of heart
Overall rating: 5 starsThese three short novellas are so wonderfully written that you wished they were longer so you could immerse in their characters' lives for a greater period of time. They are all very unique and outstanding. I am looking foward to reading the next anthology in this series. The Two Bells of ChristmasBy Joanna BarkerRating: 5 starsCassie was an intriguing unique character. No matter how she tried, she could never be the perfect lady like her sister Vivian. The only problem was that she was supposed to take her identical twin's place at a house party. Read this great story to find out if Cassie can pull off this impersonation. I also listened to the audiobook and it was excellent.Promise Me AgainBy Annette LyonRating: 4.5 starsIf you feel you'll hinder someone's life, do you make the decision to go away so they can live an easier life? A sweet heart touching story.A Christmas JourneyBy Jennifer MooreRating: 5 starsOn a journey to London to visit her father, Lucy discovers what is most precious about Christmas. This is a journey of awakening and self discovery for Lucy, Captain Stewart, Meg, and Matthews.

Sweet Christmas Stories
I liked that each of the three stories were very different. I enjoyed them all, they were clean, sweet, made me smile and that's exactly what I wanted when I grabbed this book on my kindle.I especially enjoyed Joanna Barker's story, I loved the two sisters and their dynamic and I found Robert adorable.

Pure Happiness
One can never truly appreciate full happiness without experiencing deep pain. Each story conveyed that so admirably that I felt each joy and pain as if it were my own. What a credit that is to all three author. Thank you for using your talents to provide me with a most wonderful day of reading.

2 out of three
I loved the first story. J. Barker is an excellent story teller. The book by A. Lyons is terrible. She is always such a tragedy exaggerator. Seriously. Her books never satisfy. You are left with heavy remorse and little hope, then the end never gives you much of any resolution. I try to avoid her stories now. But again like a fool I had hoped it would be different this time. Life is tough enough. When I read I don’t need added despair when I close the book. She has talent, but I don’t love the tragedy dripping in every book. Some might like that though.

Charming Christmas Collection
Timeless Regency collections are so much fun to read. This new collection, with three stories, centers around Christmas and a promise for the future-love.THE TWO BELLS OF CHRISTMAS by Joanna BarkerThis first story made me smile, laugh and hold the book tightly as I anticipated what Cassie would have to do next. Cassie and her identical twin sister Vivian arrive at a Christmas house party only to have Vivian fall sick. Vivian who finds herself in love with the host of the party asks her sister to step in as herself and make sure that Roland Hastings' time isn't monopolized by the other ladies of the party. Reluctant, but the every loyal sister, Cassie steps in and plays a role. But she has no idea there this charade will take her. Cassie is such a fun character striving to find the balance between the charade and who she is, who she wants to be, and who she wants to fall in love with. And the man himself, Roland Hastings is quite the delightful character as well, kind, observant (kind of, haha) and searching for belonging within his own home. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, Barker did a splendid job with this one as she always does.PROMISE ME AGAIN by Annette LyonThis story was a slow start for me and I struggled at first, but the ending was beautiful. The story itself had that "An Affair to Remember" vibe that played out nicely in the end. Miriam and Jacob love each other and do not care for standings in the world unlike Jacob's older brother who will stop at nothing to make sure that he and his brother are well known, high up in the world, and far away from Miriam. But as we all know, love will fight and love will win when one puts effort, heart and kindness into the ring. Lyon did a good job at finishing strong with a charming Christmas promise that warms the heart.A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY by Jennifer MooreWith the war over Lucy Breckenridge is excited to spend Christmas (a beloved holiday in her heart) with her father who has been away for years. But the war has changed things for her family and Captain James Stewart comes to share that the Christmas she most desires just can't happen this year. Determined to make it happen Lucy goes on a journey of discovery on her way to her father. The captain and a few friends join a long and the path they take builds up some of Lucy's most treasured Christmas memories yet. This was an absolutely delightful, fun and charming read from Jennifer Moore. I loved every minute of this story. Lucy is such a fun character who is proving to the world how capable and charming she really is. And Captain Stewart, he's handsome, loyal, and just the man for her story. Wonderful read and perfect for Christmas and any other time of the year when you just need a little Christmas and love in your life.*I received a complimentary copy from the publishes, publicists, and/or authors.
