The only thing is not all places want to fill something this big, so note that before buying. It is basically 2 growlers and a howler (64+64+32oz) and some change. Overall great build quality, and I plan on buying a second or possible third.

This mini keg is great. It takes about 24 hours and 2 6g CO² to carbonate the liquid inside. I use mine for vodka and soda water. Works great and it does not leak. The tap handle has a spring that self returns the valve to the off position. The tap does not drip when not in use. I also like the flow adjustment valve on the tap. The regulator gauge only goes to 30psi but I don't require any pressures higher than 30psi for what I'm using this keg for. The CO² inlet is a 3/16" thread and works great. There is no wasted gas when threading on a new cartridge. All in all the setup works great, fits in the refrigerator, is efficient and makes pouring a carbonated cocktail simple. I highly recommend you get one of these kegs.

The best feature is the tap. Do you see that little lever on the side? All taps should have that. It's a flow regulator. If it's coming out too fast and foaming, you can slow the flow down. I sometimes use this unit to carbonate white wine (make bubbly chardonnay) so I fill it 3/4 full, and crank up the pressure to the max, lay on its side in the fridge overnight. You lay on its side to get more surface area to let the CO2 be absorbed into the wine. To dispense, leave the pressure on high and turn down the flow rate to get bubbly white wine for family Sunday brunch. I just wish it was double-walled.

The very Good: This thing looks great, fit perfect on the counter and under the cabinets. The BEST thing about it is a little throttle valve before the dispensing handle . That makes it work much better, I will never have a setup that doesn't have this. It allows you to keep the carbonation in the water and not have a big head of foam. It allows you to pour the glass and adjust for the foam head that you want., Love it. The not so good: Had a broken O ring like in other reviews. The problem is that they are putting far too small an O ring on. I don't think it would have sealed even if it had not been broken. It should be have an ID 8.8 mm, OD 12.6 mm with a cross section of 1.9 mm. I did see that they have good customer service and always fix it. However, I had some O rings here and just replaced it, no problem, less than a couple minutes. It will only hold 15 psi on the tank because that is as high as the regulator goes. The gauge shows red at 20 and only goes to 30 psi. I want at least 30psi of carbonation. This does carbonate good enough for some folks but not enough for us. This was a real let down because we love everything else about it. Were it not for only going to 15 psi I wanted to buy 4 more as gifts, I was impressed with the design, especially that little pour throttle valve. If you don't need a LOT of carbonization then I highly recommend this item. If you want high levels then pass on it at this time. We returned it.

Original: The first time I used this growler, it worked great. However, the second time and beyond, I have found that the pressure release valve will constantly leak and I am flying through CO2 cartridges. I have tried to refit it with and without teflon tape and it still leaks. Hopefully, I can figure out to get it repaired/replaced. It is a shame since it otherwise, seems like a nice growler system. UPDATE: after having this issue, the customer service team addressed my concerns and promptly shipped me a replacement connector. It has been working well without problem or leak for several batches. I have revised my rating based on their great customer service.

One feature they don't tell you in the description that it is not just for beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages! I currently have a keg of craft beer fermenting so I put my wife's diet soda in it and it keeps better than in the original bottles. I have no issues with it, only that I wish it had display of some sort that indicated how much remained in it! Kudos!!

I purchased the 170 oz Mini Keg…the quality of the parts and materials have been of top quality. The set up was easily understood. The instructions to follow was step by step allowed for no confusion …no leaks. Soon after the installation and trial run (s). I purchased a second one Kent…Houston TX

This is a great small keg. Perfect for 1 gal. batches of homemade beer for example (it can contain more than a gal.). It's also super simple to use. No need for tubing, pressurizer, etc. You only need that keg and the small CO2 cartridges. Perfect for a beginner homebrewer for example.

Tailgate parties, around campfire.. put this into your cooler and enjoy!!! Brought mine at a picnic & everyone thought i was a genius!!
