Woman Made: Great Women Designers

I saw this in a store and decided not to buy it, couldn’t get it out of my mind. Great conversation starter.

This was a gift for my daughter and granddaughter to share and enjoy. It was very appreciated.

EL libro es maravilloso, sin embargo deben mejorar la protección del empaque, es una pena que todas las esquinas llegaron rotas, ya pierde su valor

I pre-ordered as I was so excited to see women designers were to be featured, as women have been sorely overlooked in the design professions. Sadly, I am very disappointed with the book that I received. Many of the most influential women designers and designer/makers are not included or mentioned, and there are a number of women who are in the book whose work is really derivative of other designers. There are of course, also many brilliant women designers represented, but the important omissions and unevenness of the selections are both very disappointing. The book reads more like a catalogue, with an image and a brief bio on each included designer. This could have been so much more!

As a gift of an expensive book, I would expect better care upon arrival- disappointed It is an interesting piece of history

Es un libro que superO los espectativas , es muy pesado y de buena calidad de impresión y encuadernación, tiene acabado imitación piel. El libro me llegó completamente cerrado pero están un poco maltratadas las esquinas . Es el mejor precio para este libro que vale mucho la pena

The writing/content of this book is 10/10. Design holds a special place in my life, and discovering certain designs I love are woman-made makes them even more special to me as a woman. The actual book was slightly bent when it arrived, had to straighten it out but still shows a bit of damage unfortunately. The cover is much more vibrant turquoise than I expected so if you’re planning to use as a coffee table book, you might want to make sure you can fit this colour into your interior.
