Itโs like strapping a Volvo onto my hose!
Maybe this is you? Bought an older home with ancient central vac. It quit, home warranty replaced unit with new Nutone but left same piping, low voltage outlets measuring about 1.5in in diameter. I replaced with newer outlets, same low voltage, same diameter, just newer...real easy. Next problem, dirty heavy hose with no power attachments and it came apart because nothing locked together, it all pressure fit so as soon as Iโd fit the pieces together and start pulling across my carpet, the suction would dig into the carpet and BAM, the hand piece would come loose. Gave up, started using canister vac, eyesore that lived in corner of kitchen for years getting tripped over. Finally visited vac shop after doing research and seeing that I could, with the right pigtail hose, get a wand and ELECTRIC POWER HEAD! Yaaaaas! I have carpet and bare floors, but more carpet, I want that power head baaaaaad. Tell vac shop guy. He says, buy a Miele canister vac. I leave. I come back week later. Still want power head. He says, wonโt work with your low voltage unit. Buy Miele canister or upright. I leave. I come back a month later. He says, maybe you want new Simplicity Volt....499 dollars. I like it, donโt like price, and then Iโd need new button lock hose which is another 100 dollars and doesnโt have a handle or on off switch...basically looks like my old hose but with button lock. Frustrated, I leave. Read vacuumland and reddit posts for days. Watch every YouTube video twice. Finally buy this unit and the beam 35ft pigtail hose because I have power outlet close to vac outlet on main floor, and can run extension cord on upper and lower floor. Get everything within a week. Vacuuming nirvana is had. Power head is heavy, like a Sherman tank, dragging me across my living room like I owe it money. The light is bright enough, not as bright as the Shark I used, but enough to illuminate under the table and chairs well. It works perfectly with the Beam hose, responds to the three way switch, no problems. The wand is quality, heavy, nice clicking noise when I adjust it, and one solid piece. The carpet height adjustment is sketchy, sort of skips around like an old stick shift. If my feet are flapping behind me, I know Iโm on 1, if my shoulder isnโt being ripped from the socket, Iโm probably on 3, and if Iโve got control, itโs on 5. I love it. Itโs good pain. The fluff and fur from our two cats is GONE, finally...I can breathe again! It bumps over thresholds like nothing and keeps trucking. It eats Legos for breakfast. I get it out and my boys start frantically picking up their game controller cords and hot wheels. We play, letโs see whoโs faster. Nothing is more satisfying than the sound of a lego being sucked through a 35ft hose. If youโve got ultra soft carpets or delicate rugs, Iโd worry about the agitation on the pile. We have hand knotted rugs but certain folks lost their complaining rights when we got cats, so I vacuum the tar outta these things and so far, no holes. If you have back or shoulder problems, be careful. The more suction behind the head, the stronger the pull because itโll dig in and yank you around. If you plan on hauling it up and down stairs, be aware that the unit alone is as heavy as most uprights. Also, itโs probably too wide to do stairs, so think and a handheld or smaller turbo attachment for that. If you need a low voltage hose, the beam I bought on Amazon was cheap. It was 102$ with gas pump style handle, pigtail cord, three way switch, push button lock, and it works fine. Itโs light, but kinks something fierce. Iโll probably upgrade later. The brush roller isnโt metal BTW, itโs not wood either. Itโs very high quality plastic, better than anything Iโve seen. Itโs a chevron style, single roll of bristles that channel towards the air inlet. Iโve noticed no scuffs on my pergo floors, but Iโve bumped the tar outta my baseboards and left scuffs so have a magic eraser handy. Also, eBay has good deals on central vac hose socks. Got a padded 35ft zipper sock for 18$ that helped with the kinking. One last thing, to release handle from the upright position, press button and gentle lean handle forwards before pulling back. Itโs a catch release, so when you lean it forwards first, it gives the catch inside room to disengage and drop. If your pulling back, youโre putting tension on the catch inside and it canโt release. I noticed a few folks mentioned trouble with the release and it seems like itโd be easy to break.

One of the best head replacements out there!
Looking for a Vacuum head replacement? Maybe you should consider the Wessel 360. We have an older Tristar vacuum, and this Wessel 360 head replacement has made our outdated vacuum come back to life. It's fun to vacuum again. The vacuum (seems to) pick up more debris than it ever did when brand new, as this head creates a lot of agitation. The light is a nice feature, and many question why a vacuum head needs a light. If you vacuum in dark and tight spaces, you need a light to see what you are about to pick up. The head unit is very powerful!! Remember folks, there are 3 primary performance functions for a good vacuum to work properly. Suction Agitation Airflow If any of these falls off, then your vacuum is not performing at it best.

Great vacuum
This vacuum works great! Very powerful and adjusts easily to switch from hard floors to carpet. The only complaint is that I can't get it to snap onto the hose securely so it comes apart while I am sweeping.

Crazy strong beater action, nice turning swivel joint too
I just got this yesterday, so I can't comment on reliability, but this worked perfectly on my Allegro hose for my Eureka central vac unit. No problems at all - it plugged in and the hose and electrical connections worked perfectly. Seems like a lot higher quality than the last one. A bit heavy, maybe 30% more than the older (cheapo) unit it replaced. But FAR more power than the cheapo unit - it has crazy strong beater action. I like the extendable tube. And the turning swivel joint was a pleasant surprise - I wasn't expecting it, but it sure makes it easier to steer around the room.

Replaced 15 year old power head
Excellent product. 15 years ago we bought whole unit to replace Electrolux unit. Power head finally died. No brainer to replace power head This is best and toughest central vacuum u can buy. Period.

Better than Beam
We have a Beam-Classic CVS and after 11 years the power head went out. After looking at all the reviews on the web for power heads; Beam never even ranked in the top 10. Now I know why! This was the best ranked head under $300. It fits perfectly into our Beam hose, It's more powerful, quieter, and more adjustable. The only thing I noticed was that it's heaver that the Beam, but this is probably do to the more powerful motor. Will it last 11 years? But for half the cost of a Beam; 6 would be good.

Awesome Power Nozzle
Power Nozzle is as described and is an awesome replacement for the old Kenmore one we had acquired in our new to us home. It is easy to set up the proper height for the surface and is also more maneuverable and quieter. Very satisfied with the performance of this power nozzle. Shipping was a few days longer than originally expected but we were notified of the expected delivery date changes and it arrived on the new scheduled date. It was well packed arrived in perfect condition. We can recommend this power nozzle. Only problem we have experienced is that it operates but doesn't lock onto the hose we have in the basement but I think and adapter will solve that problem if the old power nozzle down there gives up.

Powerful Cleaning
I did a google search regarding the best vacuum cleaner power bar and this product turned up. After researching and reading the reviews from past buyers I decided to purchase this from Vacuum Parts Canada. I am not at all disappointed with this unit. It thoroughly cleans my carpets and removes all the dog hair deposited by my two dogs. It seems that it is well built and manufactured and is easy to manoeuvre. I have only had it two weeks but so far I am very happy with it's performance.

Solid German engineering with a minor exception
Works well, steers well, has a bright light. It also seems to pick up long hair without getting it all wrapped around the power head beater brush (that's a first in my books!). The wand is telescopic and that function works well. I would give it 5 stars easily except for a couple points: it is quite heavy (not too big a deal...). The biggest downer are the buttons used to unlock the wand from the standing position and to change the height for different styles of carpet. These do NOT work well and are kind of annoying. Maybe mine is defective? Don't know - takes numerous tries to get the height set for what I need with a number of different pile heights of my carpets and rugs. As a result, I can only give 4 stars. Resolve this issue and it's easily the best power head I've ever used.

Great power head and the wand is pretty sleek too
So far so good. Very powerful and easy to use. It fit perfectly with my existing central vacuum and what an upgrade. I was comparing to broan-nutone and sebo i will be keeping this i am sure the sebo is great but i dont see how it could be better than this with the exception of maintenance. The heavier weight is great for keeping the wand standing up even when attached to the hose. My house has five people with long hair and a large dog and the carpet looks new after this. The roller also doest seem to accumulate hair easily.

Better bang for the buck
Great power, it pulls itself across the carpet. Feels like you're combining it with a workout to pull it back... ok, not really... but there is noticeable power in this thing. We've bought other power heads and this one by far is the best of them all. Well built compared to other models out there! Hoping it'll meet our needs for many years to come.
