Lia Bijou Women's Sabina Thong Sandal

I have been purchasing these for years and have had them in many colors. I absolutely love them, however the I prefer the leather sole they used to have. These are padded and yes comfortable but do not last very long. The last pair I purchased lasted less than a year. I have two pairs that I purchased about 12 years ago with the leather sole and I still wear them today. Would love to find them in the original leather.

After many years of Lia Bijou being unavailable I was thrilled to find them on Amazon – and that lasted right up to the point of unboxing.I normally wear a size 6 in Lia Bi Jou and was thrilled when I found both ‘my’ size and multiple colors to choose from.These are/were not only way to big and the quality horrible, but they weren’t even close to the color, texture, style or sole/footbed cushioning and support that a real Lia Bijou ‘would’ have.If you’ve purchased and loved Lia Bijou (previously carried by Nordstrom and a few other high-end stores) shoes/sandals then please don’t buy these with the expectation or hope that they are the same item.They aren’t.Happy to answer any questions.Mostly sad and disappointed that these aren’t the real thing.

I have been purchasing these Lia Bijou Sandals for more than 20 years. I must have 8 pairs right now. The originals were carried at Nordstroms and had a solid leather sole. I still have a raspberry colored pair I bought in 2001 . I don't think Lia Bijou makes these any more as I never find them in stores. These may be left overs, or Lia Bijou decided to only put this style on-line. The straps do not fit as tight on my feet as they used to but the soles are slightly elevated by the heel and I love that. very comfortable. I will keep buying these because they are so comfortable. But they are not the same as they used to be. They last several seasons and because I'm here in So Cal, that means I wear them year round. But they don't last as long as they used to. Hey LIA bring these back with the leather soles.

I have been wearing this sandal on a daily basis for well over 20 years. When they are available I buy and stockpile them for future use. I know my size. They are always perfect. Today I pulled out these purchased in Feb.for wear on vacation and I am shocked to find out that the straps are looser than my old ones. My foot slides around in the sandal making them unwearable for long walking. Did they change the manufacturer? Beware!I guess I can consider my self lucky that my last order got lost in the mail and I got a refund.

I had this sandal in black for several years and have always wanted more - finally thought to check Amazon! Well, there are very few colors left now but that's the way it goes, you snooze, you lose. My old black ones are NOT wearing out though; these are some tough little thongs.They are SO comfy and the strap is long enough and wide enough - too many thongs have a tight little strap on top that cuts into the top of my foot. These fit perfectly on my fat little feeties.They are dressy enough to wear to garden parties and summer concerts, good with little dresses, dockers, jeans and slacks.PLEASE, Lia Bijou! Make MORE! I need all the colors!!

I have had several pairs of this sandal in various colors. This pair in black patent leather was not up to par with my past ones I bought in a shoe store. The outer strap on each shoe was big not fitting my foot and the right sandal did not hold my foot straight in. I tried them on and am shipping them back the same day they were received. I am so disappointed. I also ordered the red patent and I do not know how they are going to be!!!

I get why these are so popular and what not. They're simplistic, but nice for a simple flip flop. But only when brand new! I thought for flip flops tney were pricey. And the fact that they didn't even last an entire summer has since convinced me of it! I had a similar pr of Lucky brand sandals that were similar in price that lasted FOREVER! These just showed their wear & tear a lot earlier than expected. And it's not like these were my only pr of shoes...

They dont feel like the real deal...they seem to run big for size 5 and the one thing i know is that Lia Bijou runs true to size makes me think the shoes i bought are a knock off.
