The product is exactly what I expected! I made a nice money clip out of it! I will be purchasing more but of different colors!The pull was add a gorgeous warn effect!When using I recommend using an edge kote to give yourself clean crisp edges!

Used this as a base layer on a custom valet tray.. the color is beautiful and made an amazing product

Very nice leather.

This leather is a very tough but bold crafting tool. It arrives well packaged; curved in a rectangular box. It measures approximately 6" x 12", not quite large enough for the project I had in mind for it but the cost is very reasonable to purchase more if necessary. It has a very authentic leather smell that is pleasant and the color is very bold and nice. It does obtain scratches and stress marks easily, which I attribute to the fact it is a real leather.I had in mind that I was going to craft doll leather boots for an authentic 19th century look. I decided to hand-stitch the leather as it is very tough and I did not want to damage my regular sewing machine. I found that this leather, although tough, can be shaped and sewn with a leather sewing needle. There is a lot of pressure you need to add to the sewing needle bottom to press it through the tough leather. The overall look is gorgeous; although this took more effort and learning, it was worth it in the end.I would recommend this leather sheet as it can be worked and shaped. It would be much simpler to use your sewing machine to stitch but it is possible to hand stitch as well. It is a beautiful color and presents very well.

This is a single piece of leather for crafting. The leather is available in several different sizes and colors, but you only get one piece in the package, not the full selection shown in the product photo. The leather is 1/16” of an inch thick. Country of manufacture is not indicated on the package.I like the thickness of this leather. It is heavy duty and quite durable. It is best for projects that need a thick piece of leather with some body rather than projects that are based on a more fabric-type feel. You will probably find an awl useful for working with this leather. Be sure to order a piece that is large enough for your project—note that several different sizes are available at different prices. Overall, this is a good choice for leather crafting projects.
