If you love villains, and coloring, this is your buy!
I forgot I had purchased this to be honest, and now I am jealous it is a Christmas gift for someone else. I LOVE this book. I also love Disney villains so, ya know, perfect combination! It is definitely an adult coloring book, and does have a lot of detail so if you like simpler coloring it may not be for you, but if you enjoy taking the time to zen out then this is a must have for your coloring collection.I will say that the binding (while non-traditional and cool) is a thicker cover atop cardboard, so it is pulling at the edge slightly and I barely received it. That would be my only dislike, but it is barely noticeable and I does not look bad as of yet.

GREAT hardcover book - no textured pages
This is a FANTASTIC coloring book! It's thick, it's hard covered, and great lines in it! Someone mentioned textured or raised pages in another review so I was hesitant but I got it for my daughter and she said that she uses Sharpies so she didn't care. However, NONE of the pages were textured or raised so I don't know if they changed it recently or what. But they were all flat pages that are great for coloring. Well worth the money!

Good Coloring Book for Disney Villian Enthusiasts
I am rating this 5 stars entirely based on the views of the person I gifted it to, who absolutely loved it, and that made me very happy, because I pretty much view this person as being like extended family, she spends so much time with our family.I personally would tend to agree with reviewers who commented on the over reliance of textures, but the person I gave this to didn't have a problem with that. She's a big fan of Disney, and Disney Villians in particular. So perhaps the best thing with this product is to know really well what's more important to the person you're getting it for.

Worth it!
I have high anxiety and living an all work no place makes it impossible to do my original passion: creating art. This book had thick pages so no bleeding, a variety of the super popular and some classic underrated villains. As a true villian lover it hit all the right spots.

Disney Villain Designs – printed on both sides of the page
The media could not be loaded. Attached to this review will be a silent flip-through of the entire coloring book and some sample photos so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it will work for you.Of all of the Disney coloring books released over the past 12 months, this one has been the one that I have most be looking forward to. While there is heavy patterning on a lot of the villains, it is not as extensive as that used in the Disney Animals coloring book. For the most part, I am ignoring the patterns and looking at the outlines and coloring in big swathes of color in both of these books. I find that it will be easier to do so with this book as the patterning is not “doodle” style. I am considering the patterning in this book as a form of texture in the villains clothes. For those who like to color lots of tiny detail, it can be worked as tiny areas to color. The book is divided into three chapters: Villains from the Animal World, Monsters and Sorcerers, and Villainous Humans. While I might have chosen different villains, there was a nice assortment from the following movies: Peter Pan, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, The Princess and the Frog, the Aristocrats, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, Aladdin, The Jungle Book, Cinderella, The Rescuers, The Sword in the Stone, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Great Mouse Detective, The Lion King, Mulan, Lady and the Tramp, Ratatouille, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, and The Emperor's New Groove. There are only 9 designs which span across 2 pages. All of them are what I call “wallpaper” repeating pattern designs. I really appreciate that no unique designs were spread across two pages as it is so difficult to try to color into the binding area. There are an additional 23 single page wallpaper designs in the book as well. The majority of the designs in the book are single page unique designs. This is what I experienced in coloring in this book and testing the paper with my various coloring medium. In the comments section below, I will list the coloring medium I use for testing and which I use for most of my coloring projects.100 pages of various Disney Villains (Animals, Monsters, Sorcerers, and Humans)Printed on both sides of the pagePaper is heavyweight, white (though some backgrounds are gray or black), smooth, and non-perforated.Sewn Binding. You can snip threads to release several pages at a time if you wish. It may be difficult to re-align the two page spreads if you choose to do this. Most designs merge into the binding areaNine designs spread across two pages. These are all wallpaper, repetitive designs.Alcohol-based markers bleed through this paper quickly.Water-based markers, gel pens and India ink pens did not bleed through this paper.Colored pencils, both wax and oil based did okay with this paper. I was able to get good color and layer the same color and multiple colors well. Blending continues to be an issue with this paper. It is very smooth and the color sometimes smears more than blends.I like a lot about this coloring book but I dropped the rating on this review to a 4 rather than a 5 based on the issue I had with colored pencils on this paper and the difficulty of coloring into the binding on nearly all pages.

Be creative with color.
This guide is fantastic! It has all the villians in intricate details you can spend some serious time coloring. This will keep you busy for a very long time. I love it. And the cover is hard. I was surprised. It's set up like a doodle book. Fun times ahead.

Fun and Challenging Villain coloring book.
This coloring book was everything I expected it to be and more. It has all the Villains and intricate patterns to make them even more challenging to color. The only thing I feel a bit sad about is that it isn't more pictures of the Evil Queen. Otherwise I had tons of fun coloring in this.

Covers are like hardback book
This is a heavy coloring book. The pictures are lovely, but the covers are around a 1/8-inch thick, each, like one of those old-fashioned pressed-board books, Little Golden Books, is one of the brands that uses this type of cover. I was really surprised by this, having gotten this style of coloring book from Sherlock and Harry Potter franchises before.
