Temper Tamers in a Jar(r): Helping Kids Cool Off and Manage Anger

This exceeded my expectations - yes, the quality of the paper cards could be better (they are a little thin) but the content is excellent with great conversation starters. I'm using it for my child and spouse! Fun dinnertime talk if you get people discussing feelings in a non-confrontational setting with neutral prompts like these cards.

My son loves these. He is 8 an has found them so very helpful. My middle little 9 did not. My eldest 14. Meh they help but they don’t other times.

My son was disappointed it wasn't a 'fun' game for him but as the questions and suggestions and role play were from the jar it made it less personal from me so after the initial time of looking at the cards (I had only chosen a couple from each section as not to over load him) it gave us a starting point. Yes I could have made my own cards as a lot of it is common sense and things we have talked about but he could read the cards and have a think in his own time or we read some together

Good for my grandson and he always refers to the cards either we play together or he reads on his own so he knows that other people have anger problems too

While I'm making purchases for friends and family for Christmas and Birthdays, my wife does the wrapping, this type of gift she reckons is just perfect...10 points to me ( and still cash in the bank from not letting the wife do the shopping this year!)
