George RR Martin's Wild Cards: The Hard Call

I simply love the Wild Cards series. Comic books/graphic novels are a great medium for it. It really brought the wild card virus and Jokertown alive. I hope to see some of the original characters in the comics make it into the book series. That will help strengthen the two and make a more cohesive universe.

I liked preferred the books, IMO

Well written story w/ much loved characters. But after holding a visual image in my mind for so long, based on all previous books, I found some of the art work less than satisfying. A very good effort, but maybe the artists should have studied the original author's descriptions of long standing characters.

Good read

I read the original smaller issues of this as they came out and it's good to see the TPB version wasn't altered from those. It's a great story, with fantastic art, and if you love the Wild Card novels, as I do, you'll love this novel.

This is not what I was expecting. It is a comic book. A complete rip off. I am returning it.
