OMG! Because our garden is surrounded by chicken wire or sharp solid obstacles, I assumed the blades would be destroyed at every turn, but this didn't happen. Infact I think, because they are so flexible, they are able to take quite a punishment. The product is extremely easy to assemble & use, & so light. I can't praise it enough.

Have wanted one for a while, I previously had a more usual striker with the plug in cord and useless, frustrating cutting wire. I had seen the reviews for these and finally decided to purchase. So so pleased, well worth the money, the reviews were correct, it is lightweight, powerful with long lasting battery life. It’s easy to change the cutting blades, and can be adjusted easily. So pleased with it, would recommend.

Very good broadly speaking although I break at least one blade every time I use it. Probably a skill issue but something to be aware of

Only used it once so far but is does what it says on the tin. I love the fact that the blades are so easy to fit, just kept a couple in my pocket whilst working in case I needed them. Very happy

Okay for simple grass to flower bed edge if used very carefully. No good against wooden, tiled, brick or wire edged border. Breaks the non flexible blades as easy as winking. Any slight angle into the lawn will rip the grass back to the roots. Gave me a dreadful backache using it. You might be able to overcome this by careful adjustment of the support strap. Cutter speed drops rapidly in taller grass, say 75mm. My old Black and Decker plastic wire strimmer does a much better job, despite being mains powered and having to continually extend the wire. Buy at your peril.

Lightweight excellent engineered machine, cuts easily to manicure lawn edging, and weed control under hedges. Angle at 90 deg. and get defined borders. Blades are common on Amazon search and changing them a breeze. Gtech give a bunch for starters. Old machine died after six years of abuse so ordered straight away and arrived next day, sheer delight can’t wait to strim again even looking at neighbours garden.

This is nicely made - up to a point. It charged pretty quickly, it’s nice and light and easy to use. I wanted it because was cordless, which it is. But The cutting mechanism is awful, can’t cope with grass around the fringes. This isn't the usual cord mechanism, it’s a little plastic plectrum type of blade that clicks onto the mechanism, the problem is that they’re neither sharp or strong enough, the don’t cut very well, break or come off. You are provided with a bag of these, but from my experience that won’t last long. A £30 one (admittedly not cordless) from a high street store cuts better. It’s frustrating because it’s very close to being great. Its only flaw is a huge one. Sadly

This product is light weight because it is so cheaply made. The trimmer shield falls off continually and has to be reattached. The trimmer blades also tend to fall off and only good for one trimming. Since this company is located in the United Kingdom, ordering an additional battery or additional trimmer blades is impossible. When you go online to the company and search for the product, their response is that they cannot deliver to my location. Not a good product if you want durability and long-term use. At this point, I'm considering returning the product.

The battery dies very fast and takes a long time to charge. Better off with a manual metal one.

Trigger lock/ ignition quit working after one use. Seller and Amazon giving me the runaround about an exchange or refund

Don't last long and takes 4 hours to recharge. And can get another battery.
