Great coffeemaker and compact too!
Second Update: who has time to update a review twice? Well I am just relaxing with a cup of coffee made in this brewer which is still working great after almost 3 years of daily use. I am thinking of ordering another one to keep as a spare in case the first one dies but it's still working like new. I am very pleased with this little machine. So compact and easy to use.Update: Used this coffeemaker every day for almost a year now. It's compact so we brought it on vacation also. Still EXTREMELY pleased with it. Works perfectly, never malfunctions and brews a great hot cup of coffee. We use Peet's Major Dickason blend with about 9oz. of water - excellent dark strong euro flavor.Bought this coffeemaker so my wife could make a single cup of coffee in the afternoons or evenings without having to make a larger pot with our regular coffeemaker. Wanted something compact to hide in kitchen cabinet or at least not take up much space on counter top. It does a great job, and she can pick from dozens of types and flavors. Works with any brand Kcup I think (she has used 3 different brands so far). It makes great tasting coffee, quite hot, and you can use any size cup or mug you want. A typical coffee mug holds about 10-12 ounces and is perfect size for this machine. You could easily fit a larger mug up to about 16 ounces. You simply pour a mugful of water into the top of the machine, drop in a Kcup, close the lid, place the mug in the machine and press the start button. The water heats up, the machine pumps it through the Kcup and into your mug, then shuts itself completely off. Total time about 3 minutes. So far very pleased. Hope it keeps working for years.

Perfect For Travel or Apartment Living
Great little coffee maker. I was not sure it would work well as I intended to take this on vacations and cruises however it is extremely easy and the water gets hotter than my Keurig machine at home. This small compact machine is lightweight and has an auto shut off after making coffee.

Not a great brewer
So, there are three PROs for this brewer:1) It makes your coffee FAST.2) It's relatively easy to clean.3) It's very easy to use.Now for the CONs:1) Coffee isn't the hottest - after 10 minutes in a well-insulated mug it's already cooled down significantly. I drink my coffee over a 30-minute period, and I usually have to heat it up twice.2) Coffee doesn't taste good. It's weak, and there are usually some grounds at the bottom of my cup. I think it brews it TOO fast, so the grounds aren't given enough time to steep. I'm using the same batch of K-cups from my last brewer (that died), so it's not the cups themselves.3) Product is cheaply made. The plastic on this brewer is definitely of a much inferior quality to my last brewer (Sboly single-cup brewer, about $15 more than this one). It's thinner, and just doesn't feel like a quality product. It weighs *nothing*, like I can dangle it off of my index finger easier than one of my coffee mugs.4) Not much room for a good-sized mug. I can't use any of my larger mugs in this - the largest that fits is a 12-oz. The platform the mug sits on is really high and the cup vessel is really low, so you've got only 5" for your mug. I usually brew 11 oz. and add creamer, so this is an issue. I brew it in my 12-oz mug, then have to pour it in another to add creamer so it doesn't overflow the mug when I tip it to drink.5) They give you a rubber drip tray that sits on top of the platform but it's useless. It's pretty thick for starters, so I can't use it with the mug (because the mug won't fit) and it hardly holds any spill over (my last brewer held up to 6 oz) because it's pretty much solid with a few grooves.6) It sounds like it's going to take off from my kitchen counter. It's pretty...forceful. And I think that's part of the reason I'm getting grounds in my coffee: it's trying to blast through so quickly to get you the coffee fast that it's just not brewing correctly and taking grounds along for the ride.Overall, I'm sorry I bought it as it was a waste of my money. It works, but not well. I've got coffee, but I don't enjoy drinking it. While it fits on my limited counter space, it doesn't fit most of my mugs. :(

Not for tall mugs
The simplicity is nice. Just fill the water reservoir and press the power button. The power shuts off automatically when done. The power cord stores inside the machine for travel, and it is also nice for kitchen use because you only have to expose the length needed for a neat look. The cup height can only be about 4 inches. With the drip tray removed it can be up to about 4.5 inches.Unfortunately non of my mugs fit without tilting it to go underneath the dispenser. I knew about the 10 ounce limit and that is all I drink, but my mugs happened to be too tall for this machine. It is not 1200 Watts as shown in the web page (at the time of this purchase). It is a misprint as confirmed by the manufacturer and they are going to fix the description to say 800 Watts. In actuality, I measure the wattage at 710, so it was disappointing that it takes about 3 minutes to brew a cup. That does not seem much, but that extra 2 minutes seems like a long time when you are used to the full-size Keurig with pre-heated water.
