DK Eyewitness Top 10 Rome (Pocket Travel Guide)

Even w the internet in my pocket, I found this book very useful. Concise, neighborhood by neighborhood info. Map had info I didn’t think was useful- until I needed it! It’s small and has separate map- I highly recommend.

Well pack, fast delivery and just what I need. I guide to put in a pocket while touring Rome.

I will have a quick stay in Rome and find that this is the perfect quite to utilize my time the best! Will hit lots of top sites using this information!

The DK Eyewitness Top 10 series is the best I have found. Used it in every European country I have visited. Helps one focus in on the top things to do and places to see. In this case, the guide distills Rome down to its essence.

Unfortunately it doesn't tell you to buy Colosseum tickets online days before you visit and doesn't tell you the offical site - a massive failure in my viewIt's why you go to Romeditto for Vatican and PantheonAnd then ticket touts who have bought all the tickets then try and sell you at inflated pricesAlso go very early to avoid queues and for vatican espedcially as a late timeslot may not even get you in.

I like DK guides. Not too much information, but enough to give the reader a flavour across all topic areas. This is not the cheapest guide, but worth the expense.

All the DK Eyewitness guides are excellent and this is no different. Good book and comes highly recommended.

Great guide that was well thumbed both before and during our trip. Handy laminated map also.
