Love these compression pants. I needed these pants for thigh compression for 2nd stage post op. These pants really slim the waist and give you that hour glass figure if that's what you're wanting the pants for. I only needed them for Compression to thighs. I did size down.

The leggings/yoga pants are definitely made to hold in what you want, but with the compression(especially the tummy area) strenous exercise is not comfortable. Moderate walking and weight training is possible, but no bending, or twisting comfortably. They are pretty easy to put on, not see through, and are slimming.
