Perfect decoration, edible, great value.
These little butterflies were a hit at my baby’s party. They’re edible wafers that have no taste and went well with the buttercream on the cake and cupcakes. Made the cake look super cute and adorable!

Great addition to a surprise birthday cake!
Perfect for a cake I decorated. arrived next day, zero damage or broken. Yes, they are flat but easily bend V-shape, so they appear 3D like in the pics, nothing misleading about them. They are small but not tiny. Looked amazing clustered with raspberries on a cake. They are perfect for cupcakes. Will purchase again.

They work
I wish the quality was a little bit better but they are gorgeous on cakes/cupcakes. Some do break when you bend but it won’t be noticeable on the cake. Now, they do taste terrible so I wouldn’t recommend these if you are actually wanting to eat them.

Pretty and edible!
Loved these, just what I needed to elevate my cake to and it’s a plus that they’re edible!!

Could look better!
They look like printed cardboard, and the color is not very bright.

Very pretty, one-sided and flavorless as advertised
I got these as an edible sugar-free and gluten-free decoration, which is harder to find than you'd think! These lovely butterflies are printed on one side on edible wafer paper, which is like heavy card stock with a little glossy sealant over the inked side. The inks are a bit less vibrant than the pictures, sort of a soft pastel, and the blue/teal and pink/peach are rather similar. They don't have much taste - sort of like communion wafers - and (good news) the ink doesn't seem to have any taste either. They arrived packaged nicely in a resealable plastic zip bag and separated easily. A few of them had some white damage spots, mostly minor, so I would recommend getting a few more than you'll actually need.To bend them, I placed a skewer in the center and then gently lifted the wings up for a rounded crease. For cupcakes, I used edible gum arabic glue to stick two butterflies of the same color back to back, to give a 3-D effect when the wings were bent and to make them sturdier. Some of the doubled butterflies developed a slight white crack on the bottom when I bent them, but it was fine as it was on the bottom where they were attached to the cupcake.I recommend adding the butterflies to the cake as late as possible if you can. Even doubled for extra stiffness, they softened in the refrigerator overnight so that the wings drooped open a bit, but it turned out looking fine for the wings to be open anyway. One of the single-layer butterflies on a cake had half a wing droop down overnight , so it needed to be replaced with a fresh one in the morning. Again, you'll probably want to fold a few extras and keep them handy in case you need to do a last-minute swap for a droopy one.
