Nice material. Comes with bag presumably to put in freezer to protect ice pack. Stays cold for about 20-25 minutes.

This unit is great for around your back or even over your shoulders but the length of the straps and the way the velcro is it makes it a little more difficult to use like on knees or ankles. Stays cold good for about 20 minutes which is all you should use an ice pack for at one time. Comes with a plastic holder bag so when you put it in freezer you don't have to worry about and food stuff possible spilling on the actual ice pack or straps.

I have lumber disc degeneration x 5. I’ve worn this every night for 2 years since cold works for me. Since I’ve laid on it non stop since Sept 22, I’m surprised it lasted keeping cold that long. When the Velcro wasn’t working as well, I just tied it loosely to my waste. Amazing product. It covered across my back from hip to hip. I am replacing it, same product.

I LOVED this product both as heat and for cold and used it almost everyday for ongoing back pain after a spinal fusion, but while using it last night it burst a little at 2 seams and some of the gel came out on my clothes and now it is not usable. The instructions on it say "Discard immediately if punctured and contact Medcosa for a replacement" .. which sounds great until you try to contact them and I can't find them anywhere on the internet!! Nor is their customer support via their Amazon store. I NEED A REPLACEMENT PLEASE - IT WAS ONLY 9 MONTHS OLD WHEN IT BURST WITH SIMPLE REGULAR USE!

We bought two sets of the ice packs to use on elbow and knee. I also used one on lower back once. They were sturdy, holding the cold temperature well throughout the icing sessions, and easy to fasten with the velcro straps. The only issue is that the packs are a bit stiff so you may need to adjust the fit after they soften a bit. Also, you have to put a towel or a cloth between the ice packs and your bare skin or you will have a freezer burn.

I liked the feel of the bag, nice and smooth compared to my old plastic one. However, this is too large for use on an arm or leg. Look at their photo and you see that the person is holding it in place, not the velcro. I had a small leak the first time so I returned it.
