Is this meant to be worn over a onesie or by itself?

Hi there, Thank you for contacting Happiest Baby! You can put your baby in a onesie and then put them in the swaddle using the bands to keep their arms down. Check your baby’s ears, if they are red and hot or your baby's neck is sweaty, then your baby is too warm. You also have the option to wear it by itself. Whichever option works best for your baby! We hope this helps! If we can be of additional assistance, please do not hesitate to let us know how we can best support you

How can I make it work with a crib? Please advice, thank you.

Hi Mariam, Thank you for contacting Happiest Baby! SNOO sleep sacks are intended for use in SNOO only. We also offer Sleepea swaddles. While the SNOO sack is specially designed for the SNOO, Sleepea swaddles are for fast and easy swaddling outside of the SNOO. If you have additional questions, please let us know!

Is it ok to have the top slightly unzipped? I find it super snugged in the neck part

I don't see why not, if baby doesn't care then go for it ☺️

Can you remove the piece on the back?

Hi Karissa, Thank you for contacting Happiest Baby. We do not recommend removing any piece from the SNOO Sack. If we can be of additional assistance, please do not hesitate to let us know how we can best support you!
