Very good... Highly concentrated so just a little is enough otherwise too salty

I like the Mushroom bouillon. I never even knew it was available. I use it in my Quinoa, along with chicken bouillon, Jalapeño pepper dried flakes, and add my hot Habanero olive oil from Sciabica’s Olive Oil in Modesto. Mmmmm!!! It’s adds a great flavor in the background. Highly recommend it.

This is just the best stuff. I use it all the time, with a variety of different dishes, but my favorite (and the simplest) is just to add half a tablespoon to a package of chicken-flavored ramen, which I do first thing every morning. So perfect! I further recommend adding it to the water (along with some minced garlic) when making rice for an excellent side that goes with pretty much anything, or sprinkling it over frying noodles to pair with strip steak. Obviously it can be used to make quick-and-easy broth or gravy as well. You'll find many uses for it, and I consider it essential in my kitchen.

I have previous bought this mushroom bouillon a long while back. I use the previous can sparingly because of it's relatively strong flavor profile. With this can, it seems like the formula has changed to add more salt with a lessened mushroom flavor. It still tastes of mushroom, but not as strongly as the previous can. I typically use this to add mushroom flavoring to gravies and soups. With the extra saltiness, I have to use even less, imparting less mushroom flavor than I'd like. The manufacturer needs to cut back on the salt to allow the mushroom flavor through. We're not buying salt, we're buying mushroom flavored bouillon. The salt is somewhat out of balance with the flavor. It's still flavorful and useful in cooking, but not as much as I was hoping.

My wife and I were searching for a non-meat alternative to beef and chicken bouillon, expecting this product to be just a temporary substitute. To our surprise, we were completely wrong—this stuff is amazing! I’ve stopped buying beef and chicken bouillon altogether. It’s essentially a more affordable version of mushroom powder, and we absolutely love it. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

This is like the secret spice everyone should have in the spice cabinet. This works on nearly everything and don’t carry a heavy mushroom flavor. My daughter hates mushrooms but uses this often.
