Awesome Rendition of a Classic Decepticon
Astrotrain is one of the latest in the Titans Return series. Like some of the others, he is a remake of the original Astrotrain that is far more articulate than the original G1 from the 80's. Also, like the others, he's a Headmaster. The Darkmoon figure (Head) is small, and not overly articulate. Not a big deal. Transforming Astrotrain can be a little complex, but you'll get used to it. As far as articulation goes, you can move the head left and right. The fingers don't articulate but you can bend the legs and arms into far more poses than the original Astrotrain. Basically, I'm awash with nostalgia. This figure is what the original should have been. It's far more like having a representation of the cartoon character. He makes a great addition to my collection.

I really wished Astrotrain turned into the classic locomotive.Thats why I only put 4 stars.
I really liked that Astrotrain was a triple changer. Though the real reason I liked it was that his head turned into the titan master Darkmoon.

Bad guys are awesome too
This was a winner for my 4yr old at Christmas. At first he said it was too hard until we showed him. Now he's a pro after a couple of times of showing him. We got this one for him because he likes robots, trains, and spacecraft. This Transformer is all 3! Yes, he's a bad guy, but he is too cool and we had to get him. I still wish the new plastic Transformers were made of metal like mine were though. They seem like they'd be less durable.

Great Toy!
I personally love the idea of Astrotrain in that he's both a train and a rocket ship. He works very well and his joints aren't as stiff as some other Transformers. He's a little smaller than I expected, but after a while you just don't care. Definitely recommended.

Three modes, four stars!
Very fun figure, I needed very much for my Decepticon shelf. One of my favorites from the cartoon. Be careful with the Headmaster Darkmoon, for he is kind of brittle. Works well with TR Voyager Blitzwing and CW Leader Megatron
