These are the most extraordinary earbuds I have had to date! They are very comfortable, a perfect balance of sound range (base/treble), loudness, and quality- and they stay in my large oily ears without falling out! With the silly cord between the earbuds that most have- the weight and length typically cause the ear-buds to come out of your ear over time. I thought it would be great if all wireless bluetooth earbuds could "lose" the cord between the ear pieces, but Anker designed the cord to actually work to keep the earbuds in the ear (rather than pull them out)! I'm an engineer and will say that this design is incredible! A+++++ job!! Update: Battery life is about 5 hours on 3/4 volume. Not quite the 6 hours Anker notes, but far better than the six different brands I've owned/used before! Update: The Bluetooth signal is the strongest of any of the earbuds I've owned. The signal range is about 40' and has never dropped within that range. It also is less affected with objects in the way then any of my previous ear buds! Update: I have read other reviews complaining about the poor bass. The bass is not extremely heavy because the rubber buds are designed to fit at the surface of your ear-canal, not inside the ear canal as most other earbuds. This makes the earbuds much more comfortable over long periods of time. It's probably better from a health perspective as well! That said, make sure that the correct ear bud is in the correct ear (there are markings on the black rubber buds-for example, "LL means "left lobe" and the "RL" means right lobe for the right ear). You'll need to experiment whether the best fit with the small, medium, or large lobe earbud. Update: i've now had a chance to have a few conversations and opportunities to dictate to Siri using these. The microphone is much better than any of the previous ear buds I've used. Not perfect, but you'll be surprised how high the quality is- even with ambient noise outside. Your conversations are very clear with no crackling sounds! Conclusion: I have spent way too much $$ only to be moderately pleased at best (including a high-end model which I won't mention the brand- but let's just say LeBron James endorses them!). Purchase these- you will NOT be disappointed!

I tested these against the similarly-priced "Zeus Outdoor" BT earphones, and after some careful consideration I decided these were better. Pros: I really like the design of this set. Rather than having the ear hook part as a separate piece which could break or fall off with wear, these build them into the cable between the speakers which gives them a lower profile look and sturdier feel. The cable is more rigid than with most earphones so I feel like these will last a while. This cable will never get tangled. The included silicone fastener is truly optional - I can't decide if I prefer it with or without but I like that I have the option. From my limited testing experience, the bluetooth range is fair and will work through at least one of my apartment's walls. Started to cut out when I turned a corner, putting a bathroom between me and my iPhone. After a little struggle it seemed to find the signal again and played while I stood still. I wouldn't get these if I intended to listen from a long distance - it seems to expect the source to be on your desk or in your pocket during use. I like the included carrying bag. It feels nice and has a spongy thickness to it. Fits in the smallest pocket of my backpack which solves the problem of earphone cables getting tangled with my sunglasses in the same pocket. Cons: The most frequent problem I've had with these is the buttons have limited functionality compared to other earphone sets, and sometimes these will not respond predictably. Occasionally the middle button (off/on, pause/play) will not be able to pause Spotify playing on my laptop, even after restarting the set. The volume doesn't seem to depend that which I have set on my laptop, but rather it is independent of the source and only changeable with the buttons on the right earpiece. I wish there were a way to skip or go back with the buttons on the device. The battery life isn't super long. I need to charge it every 2 days at least with my fairly light usage. When it runs low on juice it immediately cuts out and flashes red on the little LED. It's awkward to plug the charging cable into the port, because the flap meant to cover the port doesn't move out of the way enough. As other reviewers have mentioned, you cannot listen to very quiet music with these. I suspect that the developers realized that the effective EQ at low volumes got whacky for these drivers and arbitrarily limited the volume in firmware. On my Macbook, this means if I reduce the volume to one "bar", the sound is muted. If you set it to two bars and press the Vol- button on the headset, the sound will also mute. Do not try to store the charging cable inside the included bag unless you remove the velcro strap attached to the cable. It damages the bag. Other: Like another reviewer, I also found what looks like short black beard hair in my box. Puzzled at first, I realized it is coming from the bag's interior thickening threads. These look a bit like those thick curled threads in velcro, and they help give the bag its spongy feel for padding protection. Now that I know what they are it doesn't bother me, but perhaps Anker should be careful not to let these hairs get onto the device inside the box lest more customers assume some disgruntled employee shaved his beard over the production line. Sound quality is pretty good. As I mentioned, I compared these with the similarly-priced Zeus Outdoor earphones, and while these had a noticeably less punchy bass I felt that the overall quality was better. If you exclusively listen to heavy EDM you might take this as a con, but since I listen to a large variety of music I prefer the capabilities of this set.

I've owned hundreds of dollars worth of bluetooth headphones ($20 to $40) at a time over the last few years. I'm an avid runner currently nearing my first half marathon, and I sweat buckets when I run. I also lift weights a couple of times a week. I've owned QY8 (terrible), AYL (okay), Blayz (decent), and several others I've forgotten. Background: Years ago, I got really awesome headphones in the form of these waterpoof beasts https://www.amazon.com/Sony-Walkman-NWZW273S-Waterproof-Swimming/dp/B00I05EFMG. With these I kickstarted my running habit and began to enjoy the sport more. From a physical standpoint, these are the best headphones I've ever owned. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and easy to control aside from turning them on and off. The downside is that they are not bluetooth, and thus I can't use them with all my cloud-based music easily. Another downside is that they have trouble charging due to contact corrosion that has amassed over time exacerbated by sweat, and it's not great that they use a proprietary charger. If Sony made a bluetooth version of these in this same form factor, I would buy it in a heartbeat. However, Sony does not make a bluetooth version of these. Anyway, I knew that the rigid-back formfactor could really work well from my experience with the Sony headphones. Unfortunately, Amazon is full of terrible bluetooth headphones with fake reviews that make it hard to dig through them all, and most manufacturers make the kind with a soft cable connecting them. I really think the only reason that style took off is because it is cheaper to manufacture. Anyway, after trying lots of disappointing headphones, I decided to give these a shot when I was weighing getting some bone conduction headphones since my wife (also a runner) got some. I heard about these from a facebook ad oddly enough, and later found them again on Amazon. I was frustratedly comparing headphones when I stumbled across these the second time. The reviews appear to be genuine, which is rare in this product category. I've also owned Anker products in the past, and they have mostly been great. Even when one wasn't, they tried their best to make it right. Also, lots of friends of mine love their products in real life, and the price was right so I figured why-the-heck-not go for it. These are the best bluetooth headphones out there that I have experienced. The wrap around back piece appeared a little too floppy in the videos, but it is more rigid than I expected once I got my hands on it which is a plus. These stay in my ears pretty well. The retention rubber band piece across the back doesn't slide when sweaty doesn't budge whereas the one on my great Sony headphones would slip all the way to the back of the band, so these are even better in that regard. The bluetooth signal is reliable, battery life has not been an issue, the startup and shutdown sounds are pleasant (like a record spinning up and slowing down). Also, the charger cover is sturdy, and it uses a standard cover. The earpieces are big rubber one piece jobs (not a little earbud nub, but a cover that goes around the speaker and has an earbud branching off of it) which makes it easy to rotate them for optimal positioning. Sweat hasn't bothered these. As far as signal, these don't lose connection when I have the phone in my waist belt and them on my head while running, though sometimes they do when I turn my head to the side. This sounds lame, but I'm tall and there are many headphones that can't even maintain a connection when my head is straight. When my phone is not pressed up against my flesh, the signal is great. I can leave the room with these in my house and stay connected, and at the gym I can leave my phone in one place while getting water or using a machine some distance away without issue usually. My only real complaint with these is the controls. The controls are awkwardly placed. I have to scratch my ear to operate the buttons which are all crowded on the top of the right earpiece. I'm not sure why the controls weren't placed on the back or bottom of both earpieces. The sony's had track skip buttons and play on one earpiece bottom with volume on the other and power/lock on the back of one. It would also be nice if there was a track skip back button. However, while I'm bashing this one aspect of the controls, I have to commend Anker on the reliability of the controls for voice actions. I can reliably use voice dialing or control my music via voice by holding down the center button for a second or so. None of my other bluetooth headsets were as easy to do this on, and some (Blayz) totally omit that feature while costing more than these. It also helps that their instructions are very clear and well laid out, and they are probably the best headphone instructions I've seen. So there you have it, these are the best I've used. The combo of price, comfort, and usability is astonishing frankly compared to the other garbage on the market. If you are on the fence about buying your tenth set of bluetooth headphones, I wouldn't be any longer with these. They are the last type I'll buy. I'm already considering grabbing another pair so I can have a backup set in case anything ever happens to these.

Trying to find a good pair of wireless earbuds that provides a good quality sound and actually stay in my ears has been quite a challenge for me, wasting time and money trying different pairs in either returning them or worse accepting them for occasional use. I have always loved Anker products and thought they made a good product so when I saw these I had to try them. The design of these earbuds is great I think they feel snug and high quality, and definitely stay in place no matter what you do with them. They are advertised as being waterproof and to test that I actually wore them while showering and they worked fine and continue to work fine afterwards. These come so close to being perfect it is almost frustrating but here is the big issue I had - earbuds completely rely on sealed connection to the inside of your ear to provide a good sound. What I mean by that is that the sound quality dramatically changes when I push on the earbuds and make them seal well inside my ears versus when they are not sealed and just kind of floating inside my ear. I tried all three included earbud sizes and could not find one that felt like it fit and worked well and provided that necessary seal for a good sound quality. Without the good seal in my ear the sound quality is very poor and has no bass, when the seal is made by pushing on them from the outside the sound is very good . What is frustrating sometimes I can get the earbuds to seal but over time or with movement they loosen and I lose the seal and the good sound quality . I believe this to be the reason there are so many varying reviews on this product from people that say the sound is fine or the sound is horrible - It depends on whether they are getting the buds to seal to their ears or not . The only other minor issue I hope they will look to improve on for future versions is the small difficult to manipulate controls - there are three very small identical feeling buttons on the right earbud that operate the power and volume and song skipping. They are extremely small and it is hard to hit just one button you almost have to use your fingernail to operate them and hitting the wrong button when you're trying to Power It off can be frustrating . Like all Anker products the bluetooth connection worked great, and unlike other brand products I have tried has no static or dropped connections.

Fit = 5 - Best fit I have had on any sport headphone, works great for running Sound = 3.5-4 - It works for me, decent his and lows with good bass. For running and working out it does the trick. Build Quality = 4.5 - Seems sturdy and controls are easy to use while in motion Battery life = 4 - gets about 4 hours or so which is reasonable, easy to open charging port and charges quickly Blue Tooth connection - 4 - clear connection about 98% of the time during 5 mile runs, crackles here and there but are is not critical. Overall = 4.5 - I rated 5 stars on a round up. My rational for this is the cost benefit. These headsets for $40 deliver good sound and reliability with an as close to perfect fit you will get out of sports headsets. Further information below: I was holding off on my review initially because I was experiencing connectivity issues with my iOS 9 iPhone 6. However, I expected this to be an iPhone hardware/software issue since I was having Bluetooth connectivity issues on other devices and also had GPS issues with the same device. Examples of connectivity issues would be, I would loose connection simply by putting the phone in my pocket versus sitting on the chair next to me. Sure enough, with the new iPhone 7, I no longer have this issue. These headphones for working out and running are the best I have seen for the money. I particular like these headsets at this price point because I do not feel like I am sacrificing any quality compared to higher priced sets of beatz, etc. Additionally, if I were to break or misplace these headsets out of warranty, I will not have to be as frustrated or feel the loss of a $100+ pair of workout headsets.

Updated 4/12/19: Bought another set that had the same problem and ended up buying the replacement since I like these more than other earbuds because of the weight distribution. Anker support has gone downhill as they no longer feel like honoring the warranty. I have two sets with one defective after repurchasing it at the end of January and getting a replacement. I contacted support where they ask me the serial number multiple times and prolong the replacement process. No longer buying Anker. Keep the funds of the replacement and lose a customer. Plenty of other products that work well for cheaper. The main value add was the support but it seems that is no longer the case. Update 2/19/17: After I posted this review, Anker contacted me and offered to replace the broken pair. I was traveling and they were able to send it to me where I was. I've waited to post an update since I wanted to make sure the new pair would hold up. I'm glad to report that they are still doing well. I've updated my review to reflect the new pair. I would up it to 4.5 because of the extra service. There's still some drawbacks but that is more with the unit. I like anker products and will continue to buy them for as long as they stand by their products. ------ Original Review I typically buy anker products because they are pretty good quality for the price but this time it wasn't so great. I would like this if it continued to work. I use this regularly working out at the gym and cycling. I purchased this in late Aug and it is not Dec and the left speaker no longer works. Sound quality is good with good all around range. It feels a little bulky, good outside noise isolation. The only real problem is the left ear audio went out. Battery life is a few hours on 1 hour charge. No bluetooth syncing/pairing issues to iphone 6plus/7plus. The buttons are a little small for the volume control when you are actively working out. It would be nice if they had volume up on the right volume down on the left or something like that. I bought these 15 months ago, and have been using them daily since. They have good sound quality. For reference (because there are so many speaker fanatics out there who think everything is an insult to your ears), I think the corded Apple ear buds that come with your iPhone have good sound quality, only slightly better than this blue tooth device. The battery holds up well. I charge overnight, use throughout the day. I run out of juice on weekends when I have more yard work (and more usage for these). On a typical week day, they last me all day. It comes with extra rubber ear pieces, which is great because I have lost some. They hang around my neck all day, which is how I suspect I lost those rubber ear pieces. E.g. in a car they tend to get caught behind the seat belt when unbuckling. Falling asleep is also a good way of losing them. I like that it can fit tightly around your head so they don't come off during sports. Although in extreme heat when you get really sweaty outdoors, the over the ear curvy things sometimes slip off your ears. At one point, one of the speakers stopped working suddenly without warning. Customer service was great! A short phone conversation and they sent me new ones free of charge, which have held up well. As with all blue tooth devices, your own body can block the signal. So, when bending over during yard work, reception will get bad. It's my understanding that's a general blue tooth issue. I solve it by putting my phone in safe location, not on my body. Overall, good quality for your money. Oct. 2019 Update: 1.5 years is how long they lasted, if I ignore they were replaced by Anker under warranty after about 8 months or so. The first set suddenly had one speaker stopping; the second set had both speakers suddenly dropping in volume to the point that it became unusable. Changed rating from 4 to 2 stars for that. After all, $40!

These headphones are a terrific value and have the features and sound quality that rival headphones that cost twice as much. They are very light weight and comfortable with an adjustable strap that sits behind your head. The over the ear hooking design do a fantastic job of keeping the headphones in place and never need readjusting. The Soundbuds Sport are rated at 6 hours of playback and I was able to get over 6 hours of playback at around 70 percent volume which is pretty loud. Bluetooth performance was excellent, I was able to get over 50 feet of playback all around my home. Call quality is also good. These sound very good for in ear headphones. One thing to point out though is that there is a very quiet hiss that I noticed using both Andoid and iOS. It is only noticable in a quiet room, but it is there. If you are within a menu when there is no playback, it will be completely silent but if you pause a song, you will hear the hiss for about 2 seconds and then it will be completely silent again until sound begins again. It is very quiet and it doesn’t bother me, but I haven’t experienced this on other bluetooth headphones before. And when you are listening to music you won’t notice it. Otherwise audio quality is pretty well balanced. There is not a ton of bass but overall the bass is tight, you won’t hear deep pounding bass like you would with over the ear headphones. For in ear headphones though, the bass is quite good. Mids are smooth and vocals are clean and well defined. Highs are more laid back but have an open, clean sound. They are well defined but I prefer a slightly brighter sound. Claps and cymbals are crisp but could use a small boost. These headphones sound great at very high volume too, not distorting at all and can get very loud. There isnt any app to use with these like you will find on some other headphones, it would have been nice to have an eq, but overall these sound very good and when you factor in the price, these sound amazing for 40 dollars. The Soundbuds sport nb10 are a terrific value, they are extremely comfortable and have a secure fit. They have great battery life and sound great too. If you’re looking for water resistant headphones to use while exercising, you can’t go wrong with these.

Se adapta muy bien a mis oídos, y el diseño es muy agradable. Lo malo es que el volumen es muy malo, se escucha bien pero como al 60 o 70% de lo que ofrecen otros más económicos, insatisfecho.

An addendum: Due to my own stupidity I had to contact Anker customer support and I wish I could now add a couple of extra stars, as they were so helpful. I just wish more companies had the same helpful attitude towards customers, for example Razer (computers and peripherals) and Google (Pixel phones and software issues) could learn much from Anker and both have the most unhelpful staff and the worst customer/user service policies. I have tried seven budget wireless headphones, and except for the Anker NB10 I have returned all of them due to various issues around connection and stability of the wireless stream. The Anker NB10 are a budget pair of wireless headphones that connect easily and that thus far have not disconnected themselves or the sound has not randomly suffered from heavy sound distortion, (apart from the interruption when I was standing by the microwave and my wife switched it on). The sound was a little light on the base, when first I put them on, I thought oh pants they sound really tinny but then I tried the different sized ear pieces supplied, the first one was an improvement but the second size (the largest size) made a massive improvement to the amount of base and was actually the best fit. Also having used them for over 50 hours now there is a noticeable difference to the sound the produce which has become far richer, I just want to say I am not a basehead and do not consider myself an audiophile but I do like a good balance of sound for all genres of music. I will admit these are no match for sound of my in-ear M-MODA ZN or Bose QC20, but these are nearly a tenth of the price and they are not wireless. Which reading several audiophile blogs they seem to agree that wired gives a higher sound quality, but I wanted a budget pair of wireless earphone to use during my evening job. Pairing is pretty simple, and within a few seconds as easy as pie I had them paired to my HTC M9. The NB10 are very light and comfortable, I have used for a six hour solid stint and I hardly knew I had them on. The buttons have a good feel and work well. Also the range seems to be quite good, I was two rooms away from the phone there was no degrading of the sound, the others I have tried reception issues occurred if I moved more than five feet from the device you were paired with, some struggled if I put my paired device in my cargo trousers leg pocket. Several weeks of four to six hours solid use and apart from the slight distortion caused by the microwave I mentioned earlier, the NB10 have worked perfectly, no loss of bluetooth connection and none of the more common sporadic sound distortion due to poor connectivity that I have found from every other type of budget wireless earphones I have tried. Overall for the £20 post Christmas offer I paid for them I am very happy with my purchase.

It is good but the sound is week and does not have the isolated surroundings feature.

For the money you can't go wrong. I use these while I am at work. They sound fine (although I am no connoisseur). Battery life is good and they work fine.

=== Update 28.8.2016 === Liebe Grüße an den Anker Support, nachdem meine Bewertung online war dauerte es nicht lange und der Support meldete sich bei mir. Auf der Verdacht hin, dass meine SoundBuds einen Defekt haben wurde mir innerhalb von 2 Tagen ein neues Exemplar zugesendet und siehe da - die Töne sind nun deutlich differenzierter (ein "Bass-Monster" à la Beats sind sie zwar trotzdem nicht - aber das ging es ja auch gar nicht zu erreichen). Für den tollen und vorallem schnellen Support und den jetzt deutlich besseren Klang gibts auf jeden Fall volle 5 Sterne! Meine Anforderungen an diese Kopfhörer sind, im Gegensatz zum eigentlich gedachten Zweck, nicht primär für Sport/ Outdoor-Aktivitäten, sondern als alltägliche Begleiter - auch mit der Hinsicht auf das neue iPhone, das ja vielleicht keinen herkömmlichen AUX-Eingang hat, gedacht. Vorab aber noch kurz die Info, dass Anker mir dieses Produkt zum testen gestellt hat. Wie an meiner Rezension aber wahrscheinlich sichtbar ist, habe ich die In-Ear Kopfhörer trotzdem komplett neutral bewertet. Lieferumfang: Im Lieferumfang findet man neben den Kopfhörern selbst, ein ca. 20cm langes Micro-USB-Kabel, eine typische Anker-Nylonnetz-Tasche wie man sie auch von anderen Produkten kennt, In-Ear Aufsätze in 3 verschiedenen Größen und einen weiteres, etwas größeres, Gummiband mit dem man den Gummihaltebügel der SoundBuds auf verschiedene Kopfgrößen einstellen kann. Qualität: Typisch ANKER ist die Qualität natürlich wieder bombastisch. Bei den Preisen die ANKER verlangt erwartet sicher niemand so toll verarbeitete Produkte. Die ausgewählten Materialien sind qualitativ sehr hochwertig, nichts quietscht oder klappert und die Haptik steht wesentlich teureren Kopfhörern von bekannten Markenherstellern in nichts nach. Auch das gummierte Kabel, welches die beiden Seiten miteinander verbindet, fühlt sich sehr stabil an, auch kräftigeres Biegen oder starke Beanspruchung können ihm nichts anhaben - außer man will es mit Absicht kaputt machen. Funktion: Die Bedienung könnte einfacher nicht sein. Durch langes drücken der mittleren Tasten schalten sich die SoundBuds ein bzw. aus. Sind sie mit einem Geräten gekoppelt verbinden sie sich jedes Mal wieder problemlos miteinander sobald die Kopfhörer an sind. Die Tasten sind zwar relativ klein, durch die Erhebungen und Abstände lässt sich allerdings gut erfühlen welche Taste man gerade drückt. Auch die Akkulaufzeit ist sehr gut. Ich hatte die Anker Ohrhörer jetzt viel Stunden in Gebrauch und erst nach 2-3h bewegt sich die Akkuanzeige - die sich übrigens mit dem iPhone synchronisiert - um einen Millimeter nach unten (neben dem Bluetooth-Symbol lässt sich jeder Zeit ablesen wie viel Akku noch in den Innars drin ist). Sehr gut ist auch die Bauform gelungen, selbst nach über einer Stunde spürt man fast gar nicht, dass man etwas im Ohr trägt. Auch das leichte Gewicht trägt dazu bei, dass die Ohrhörer sich ideal für den Sport eignen. Sound: Der Sound ist meiner Meinung der einzige - bei Kopfhörer aber wichtigste - Kritikpunkt. Zuerst ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Ton sehr klirrend und hoch ist. Bei hohen und lauten Tönen hat man fast immer Angst, dass der Ton so übersteuert dass es unangenehm wird. Mitten sind sehr zurückhalten und neutral - der Übergang in den Bass ist praktisch nicht vorhanden denn die tiefen töne brechen komplett weg. Egal ob man es mit einer Oper oder RnB/ Hip-Hop oder Rap probiert - Titel wie X Gon' Give It To Ya klingen komplett unspektakulär. Es hört sich in etwa so an als würde man seine Musik über einen Lautsprecher hören der in einem großen Band oder eine Halle mit viel Echo steht. Gerade bei Kopfhörern die man während des Sports trägt, sollte man den Beat gut hören können um im Rhythmus zu bleiben bzw. sich nicht auf die Musik konzentrieren zu müssen. Weiteres Problem: Das Grundrauschen. Kannte ich schon von Bose Lautsprechern aber wenn mans direkt im Ohr hat und es von keinen Umgebungsgeräuschen überdeckt wird, dann ist es echt nervig. Während man ein Lied hört fällt es fasst nicht auf. Ist die Playlist aber am Ende oder eine kurze Pause zwischen zwei Songs dann hört man es doch deutlich. Hat man sich das Rauschen etwas angehört verschwindet es dann schlagartig als hätte jemand einen Schalter umgelegt. Sehr überzeugend ist der Ton allerdings bei Hörbüchern. Jemand der viel Zug/ ÖPNV fährt und dabei gerne einem guten Buch lauscht wird mit dem Klangbild absolut glücklich sein. Fazit: Sehr gute Kopfhörer die aber im wichtigste Punkt - dem Klangbild - nicht überzeugen können. Der lineare Tonumfang mit Schwächen ab den mittleren Tonhöhen ist für mich eindeutig ausbaufähig, sowas kennen wir von Anker deutlich besser. Für die gute Verarbeitungsqualität, den Komfort, die lange Akkulaufzeit und die gute Bedienbarkeit gibts von mir 3 von 5 Sternen.
