Soul and Destiny: Why You Are Here and What You Came to Do

After recently reading several of Alan Cohen's other books, I was excited to read his latest, Soul and Destiny. Operating from the premise that (as stated in the introduction) "you are a masterful being that has set up every encounter and experience for your awakening and healing, and to deliver your unique gifts to a waiting world," this book provides the means for both aligning with one's destiny and facilitating success in any endeavor. Cohen eloquently and insightfully covers a sizeable range of topics, including soul contracts, soul retrieval, generational healing, the control we have over our own reality, and the role "chance" plays in our lives. I particularly enjoyed the sections pertaining to accessing and following intuition, recognizing our inherent wholeness, and the good that is continually seeking to flow to and through us. Cohen furthermore points out that destiny often has better plans for us than we have for ourselves. I found this book to be a highly enjoyable, valuable guide. I will refer to it often.
