Awful amonia smell
My hair did not pick up this dye whatsoever(but this could have very easily just have been user error on our part because we tried to color strip my hair with a higher developer and we think some sort of chemical reaction with the color stripper and this dye may have caused it to not stick). Not really sure but all I know is I have never in my life cried and choked from the smell of hair dye which is why i'm giving it the low star. I got this mahogany red one and the beige red brown as well. Really bummed out that my hair didn't catch the color and i'm currently stuck with messed up hair until I can run out to sally's and pick something up to nullify or cover this f up.
