Momentum Brands Sliding Window Locks Set (12 Pack), Security and Safety Locks

I’ve used these type of locks for years. These are a bit smaller than what I’m used to. They do the job. I just put 2 so I can be sure each window is locked. Would rather have had just the standard size. But no real complaints with the products

I had to pry them open to actually fit my window and once I did so it wouldn’t lock into place had to get a thrill and bore a hole for it to thread into. Cheap but did the job so can’t complain

I'm not sure why these don't work for some people. For me, they work great. I've used them on 2 different homes and it is impossible to open a window or the sliding glass doors from outside when they are in place. The locks fit easily onto the window frame, screw on tightly, and are easy to remove if you want to open the window. I do use 2 of them on the sliding glass doors, one at the top and one at the bottom of the sliding section of door. My 80 year old mother was worried about some recent break-ins in her neighborhood so I put a set on her windows and sliding glass door. After I demonstrated how I couldn't open the window from outside even if the window was unlocked, she felt reassured and now sleeps much more soundly in her own home. Recommended item. Well package and sturdy but none had rubbers in them making some not work well,

This was a really good price for these locks. I bought to put on a relative's windows.
