Petunias inside!
Writing this review now because the last of the plants grown from the seeds ordered bloomed. and it turns out to be another type of Petunia!I grow a lot of plants indoors to be later transferred outdoors when the weather in Upstate NY is warmer. All of these seeds (bought 5 diff types) were started in trays and were marked. I knew something was wrong when the first true leaves showed...did not look right. So I waited, got a lot of healthy plants to transfer to the gardens fully knowing they were NOT what I ordered.finally, the last one bloomed so I could get an ID, it turned out to be another type of Petunia with a different leaf structure than the others! So I got a bunch of healthy, flowering Petunias that the wife loved and I had no use for...so for me it was wasted materials, time & effort, etc...for her 'Oh! aren't those pretty!'

Good germination, easy to grow with a little patience
With its minute seeds, great blue lobelia's sprouts begin as very very tiny plants (you may need a magnifying glass to check on seedling progress as they emerge). I grew the lobelia seeds in jiffy pellets in a covered plastic tray. Because the plants were so small and delicate, there was a bit of loss due to handling of the pellets, occasional hot sunlight, or even droplets knocking the seedlings over during watering. Even so, I managed to get about half of my first batch of seedlings to grow large enough to transplant into the garden after 6 weeks. Prior to that, they spent a lot of time in dappled sunlight, blowing in the gentle breezes -- this helped ensure that the stems were less leggy and a little sturdier, ready for their final planting into the ground. I'm anticipating flowers in the second year.

Looking forward to some beautiful plants.
Started from seed in my AeroGarden and have just set a few outside. The seeds are good...now to see if I can actually grow it to adulthood without killing.
