This titanium bottle went on it’s first 10k in the mountain canyons yesterday and didn’t leak a drop. The lid is easy to get off and on but I apply a bit of downward pressure to help the silicone seal to seat or unseat. This 18.6 fl oz bottle weighs 2.5 oz less than the stainless 16 fl oz bottle that I’ve been using. It nests nicely with an MSR 400 ml titan cup with room to spare so a paper towel can be wrapped around the bottle if desired. Various drinks can be mixed up in the cup letting the bottle carry only clean, pure water. This the biggest bottle that fits standing up in my Mystery Ranch Hip pack with a Patagonia Houdini and a handful of essentials, perfect for trail hiking and canyon walking for our favorite 10k jaunts. The bottles are certainly high quality and priced very nicely compared to other similar bottles of lightweight and good looking titanium. We did a backing soda soak followed by a vinegar soak to get the normal manufacturing smell washed clean. Now we can’t taste anything but clean, pure water.

Un gran producto, súper ligero y perfecto para viajes cuando quieres ahorrarte ese peso extra, súper resistente. Lo único que le veo es ese anillo de plástico para evitar que se derrame cuando está cerrado, hay que lavarlo por lo tanto hay que quitarlo para hacerlo y no lo veo muy resistente, para cuando se rompa la botella será inútil y la marca no vende repuesto, lo que encargó muchísimo a la marca que haga.

La bottiglia, o borraccia, è molto leggera e esternamente sembrerebbe anche ben fatta. Tuttavia secondo me c'è un grave difetto progettuale o di costruzione che all'esterno non è possibile vedere: il collo conico della bottiglia è saldato alla parte cilindrica con una saldatura di ottima qualità, ma attenzione, è saldata solo esternamente. Questo fa si che all'interno ci sia uno scalino tra le due lamiere accoppiate. Scalino non perfettamente unito e in cui quindi si fermeranno nel tempo residui di liquidi difficili, anzi direi impossibili da pulire. Pertanto di certo non è consigliabile riempirla con liquidi diversi dalla semplice acqua, e anche in questo caso, resta il fatto di non essere un contenitore perfettamente pulibile e igienico. Una bella beffa considerato che essendo in titanio dovrebbe essere igienico e salubre. Altro aspetto da considerare, ma questo di natura solamente estetica, è che la finitura in titanio naturale, non verniciato, si macchia con estrema facilità (restano le impronte delle dita)

A reviewer noted that the conical neck of the bottle is welded to the cylindrical part, making effective cleaning impossible. Die Flasche ist von der Verarbeitungsqualität her top. Der Deckel lässt sich schnell öffnen und bleibt wegen des Silikondichtrings dicht, da läuft nichts aus. Ich habe bisher nur Wasser darin abgefüllt und es war bisher kein Fremdgeschmack zu erkennen (natürlich habe ich die Flasche vor dem ersten Gebrauch gespült). Dank der weiten Öffnung lässt sich gut daraus trinken. Übrigens passt diese Flasche perfekt in die Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 3 Radio. Allerdings steht die Flasche dann nicht mehr sicher.
