Is this foreverspin 2.0, or the first version?

It doesn't matter, they are junk. They are toys worth no more than 5 dollars. I bought one of these, thinking that it is was nice, I would buy the complete set. It is a piece of junk. They do not refund, they try to talk nice to you to get you to take a coupon for another piece of junk. I politely asked if I could return it and I wouldn't comment online. They quit correspondence. This is a scam company. Any positive reviews have to be from owners. If you held one in your hand, trust me you would NOT buy it. You might pay $5, but no more. Walmart has better quality tops. I wasted my hard earned money, don't waste yours. Take care.

How long does it spin?

All ForeverSpin spinning tops can be spun for several minutes, where a heavier top may be spun for longer duration than a lighter top. The S.S. Mirror top may be harder to spin than others as oil deposits from one's fingertips onto the mirrored and more slippery surface, though with some practice and proper form, it can be spun for anywhere from 3-8 minutes.

軸の細いところを普通のコマのように回してもダメ。太い部分に指をかけて回すとプーンと唸りをあげて周り直立不動状態になる。 5分は余裕で回るが、指が乾燥していたらぜんぜん回らないので指サックをするといい。指サックをして回すと驚くほど回るが、インセプションでは夢の中状態だね笑
