I bought this exact model, because it looked like its wall mount would fit over a single-gang electrical box. I was not disappointed. In fact, the slots in the wall bracket align perfectly with an electrical box. Just leave the jack inside the box (if you terminated the cable) and use a 1 foot flat patch cable. The cable guard then hides the cable.

Working great so far. We have it installed in a high-bay warehouse and the range seems impressive.

I researched this device for use in the small private school that my children attend.It can use either power over Ethernet (PoE) or a power adapter. I chose to use PoE because the place on the ceiling where it was needed was far away from a power outlet.This device has worked flawlessly since installation.It adds an additional WiFi access point to their network in the back of the school where the signal was poor. We ran 250 feet of Cat5e cable from the front of the school to the back to connect the existing router to this wireless access point. We used a Trendnet PoE injector to provide power.The teachers are very thankful for this addition to their WiFi network. The installation and configuration were very straight-forward and I've not had to touch it once since installation
