Does this provide for 24 hr privacy even at night? I want to use it for sidelight windows on my front door.

Yes. We have it in our bathroom window. Only the 1 window which is in a partially enclosed area, so we always have to turn on the lights when we use it. Tested it our really good with my hubby, day or night he couldn't make me out at all, just a fuzzy blurred shape! Which is exactly what I wanted because I still wanted what light does come in that window and now I can with the peace of true privacy.

Question 2

I just received it and I don't see anything to peel off? I'm confused.

Accepted Answer

Use tape Put one piece of tape on one side facing left with a tap you can grab and another piece sticking up like you're making an L shape. Be sure the second piece of tape is on the Opposite side of the film as the first piece. Rub hard to make sure the tape is sticking well and peel them apart. You should have the film sticking to one piece and the protective sheet sticking to the other.

Can you cut to size?

Yes you can cut to size!  Don't forget to take the thin layer of clear film off the back.  Once that was done, I had a bowl with a small amt of sudsy water.  I put my hand in the water and smeared it all over the old door window.  Slid right in to place.  Then I had to trim some more pieces to fill in.  Simply Beautiful!  I purchased 2.  I may use the next one in the bathroom for privacy.  Different Beautiful colors shine through.  You won't be disappointed!

Hi There,Thanks for the question!1.Trim the film to required size2.clean glass3.wet glass with soapy water(a lot of soapy water)4.peel off the backing film5.set up film on the glass6.squeegee away water and air bubbles7.cut off the marginsBTW there's an instruction printed on the interior of the box.
