I'm not a pro painter by any stretch of the imagination, but I have spent a lot of time painting everything from warships and submarines to walls and doors. During that time I have used a wide variety of brushes, some good, a lot bad, and quite a few somewhere in between. These Prodec brushes were quite well priced, so I ordered a couple. Delivery was quick, trouble free and well packaged. They come from the manufacurer in a cardboard sleeve to protect the bristles, and once that was removed, the brush itself felt well balanced with a good springy feel to the bristles which subsequently held paint well, and gave good coverage with a 'bristle loss' of 3 hairs over three doors, which had 2 coats of gloss white paint over each side (12 sides in total), which I found to be more than acceptable. I only used one of the two brushes that I ordered, and I found it easy to clean and dry. The bristles didn't kink or break either, so the painting quality was maintained throughout.

This 6-piece set has every size you need. I used the 3" for large flat areas, the 2" for doors, and the included angled cutting-in brush was a total lifesaver for the ceiling edges and skirting boards. Why I love them: Paint Pick-up: The full-bodied heads hold way more paint than cheap supermarket brushes. The Angled Brush: Having a dedicated cutting-in brush in the pack is a brilliant touch. Finish: Works perfectly with water-based emulsions and satins, leaving a very flat, sleek finish. A must-buy for any serious DIYer or tradesperson.

Good brush, especially for the price, holds a good amount of paint, leaves a smooth finish, holds bristle well and easy to clean, if you look after it, lasts along time.

These are exceptional value and were even cheaper when I bought them. I kept showing them to family members and asking them to guess the price. I have used a couple of the brushes without any problems - no shedding. To me, they are great quality. I have done a lot of DIY decorating in the past. These do not shed. The box they came in gives an impression of quality too.

Absolutely love these brushes. They are smooth, soft and leaves a great finish. Not a single bristle has fallen out. Used Anza before but these are better and way cheaper!
