When I first received these, I was immediately concerned with how small they were. The grommet that holds them in place is 3/4", so the lights themselves are more like 1/2" diameter, and so they're pretty tiny. Based on the reviews of how bright they are, I installed them at each corner of my trailer, and are they ever bright. Nobody will have a hard time seeing this trailer at night. They're so bright that the red ones are about the same brightness as my brake lights which are also LED and about 5 inches long. They're much brighter than the old school incandescent brake lights on my pickup truck too. This makes it really nice for visibility when I'm backing the trailer up at night. They even help illuminate the ground beside the trailer a little so I can see obstructions that my truck's reverse lights don't help with. I did have one light go out right away, but when I looked at the wiring, I found a rodent of some kind had chewed it, so it had nothing to do with the light itself. When I spliced the wires back together, it lit right back up. I've had them on for a few weeks now and they're trouble free so far. I will update if I end up having any issues with them, but so far so good.

Ok, I've seen these at local big box stores for $8 a piece. These were GREAT! Very bright and easy to install. I purchased them for utility vehicle that I recently purchased that didn't have any running lights. These installed easily by drilling a 3/4" hole, then push the grommet into the hole followed by the light. Installed in minutes. Since they are made out of a completely molded piece they are water-proof. There is a 6" pig-tail that you make your connection to.

My electric scooter is 24 volts. These will be running lights. I hooked one lamp to one 12 volt battery. It drew 50 ma. About half a watt..Then tried two lamps in series, but they wouldn't light up on 12v. Two in series at 24 volts works fine.Wondering what's inside, I took apart a red one. There are 3 LEDs and 2 surface mount 180 ohm (1-8-1) resistors on a board. LEDs are red even without the red housing. Can't be sure of the amber led color.LEDs are mounted in a straight line. Brightness and visibility from different viewpoints is different. Flat spots on the plastic housing signify the LEDs position. Turn the entire housing for vertical, or horizontal line strength.Thick plastic housing is filled with epoxy. Solid construction. I had to cut / melt it in half.Wires have some heat-shrink-like tubing over them but epoxy seals it. Looks safe being completely submerged, like on a boat trailer.

They are very bright and look really good but the description says (White is negative black is positive) and yeah some of them were like that but some of them were backwards (White was positive black was negative) so just gotta be careful and check them out before hand. Idk why they are like this but they should definitely Fix them and they say in description they 100% test them all but seems like they didn't!!

I bought these to pace turn and brake signals for a motorcycle so I wouldn't have to do roadside repairs. I never in a thousand years that they would outshine the factory signals for brightness, but they do. This is great, I now have backups of all running lights, so if while I am off road and break off the factory signals, I will still be legal, and safer after dark.I am really glad this is what I bought. I initially bought some stick on lights, but they were terrible, they had what at best was 28 gauge wire, and were unable to be soldered in line, these have about 18 gauge wire leads and that works well.I am really excited to have them.

These are small clearance lights but very bright. The price was an extremely good deal and they are very easy to install. You make a 3/4 inch hole, push the grommet in place and push the LED light into the grommet. Of course you also have to hook up the two wire leads too. I saw on some older reviews that even though they were supposed to be water proof, water got in. The ones I received have a clear sealant poured into the back cavity which totally seals them up. You may be surprised by the brightness of these lights but you won't be disappointed. When I see what being in the sun for 6 months does to the lens color I will readdress this review.

Used these for side lighting on my trailer. Works great and are obviously well made. I would recommend and use again. Instructions leave a lot to be desired but I suspect the typical consumer of this product are fabricators that know what they're doing. I found it easier to drill the right size hole, push the black grommet in and then push the light in (again, maybe this is common knowledge). Regardless, they work and look great!

I have a utility trailer that is narrower than my car is wide so I have trouble seeing it in my mirrors when I back up until the trailer begins to turn and then I'm reacting to it rather than initiating its action. I wanted to put a visual aid like snow plow markers on the trailer that I could see in my mirrors. I took it a step farther by making a vertical marker that had lights on it so I could also see it at night. I used these marker lights mounted into a piece of 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 square tubing and affixed near the taillight. I had more lights than I needed but these are inexpensive and very nice lights, easy to install and quite bright. I am very pleased

I bought a 10 pack of red and a 10 pack of yellow. Absolutely fantastic. Drill a 3/4" hole in steel, aluminium or plywood and pop the grommet then light in. Wire as you would any other 12V light.Heads up though, the lights do not work if you reverse polarity. This means that you need your hot wire and ground wire to be correct. Unlike incandescent lights, these guys go one way and that is it.If you are looking for trailer lights, here you go. I am just about to order more.

Installed on my flatdeck and they look great. Good light output. Have lasted over a year now with no issues. For the money you cant lose
