Very Estonia install
I have recently purchased a smart tv I purchased this hard drive so I can record programs. I must say how delighted I am with it it is so easy to install I could not believe it all you need to do is plug it into a USB port and your ready to go it’s that easy amazing.

solid build
Lovely drive, does all I wanted. Added bonus is the board inside is not connected directly to the drive. So can be used to connect another drive to a computer via the usb to sata interface.

Not for recording TV
Please note this storage comes in NTFS format, so to use in the UK you may need to format to exFat or Fat32. For storage only it appears to be ok, but not fir anything else. You do get 498gb but the casing is not the sturdiest and you only get a short connecting lead with it.

Does the job nicely so far!
The product was delivered ok but on opening the package found a small dent in the aluminium product, as if been dropped previously on it's edge. Not a good start. Drive starts up ok and is pretty silent in operation. Almost full capacity when started which is standard for these drives. So far no further issues found. Pretty.good for the price and generally looks ok.
