Alright, so as a dad, I have officially entered uncharted territory. My daughter has this... thing for a show called Vampire Diaries, and more specifically, she’s got what I can only describe as a borderline obsession with some dude named Damon. Apparently, he’s a vampire with some “smoldering eyes” or whatever. Honestly, I don’t get it. He's pale, looks like he hasn't slept in centuries, and wears more black than a teenager going through a goth phase. But anyway, I was roped into buying this Damon Eyes Silky Touch Super Soft Throw Blanket—because, apparently, no girl can truly function without having a brooding vampire's face on a blanket. And boy, did my daughter’s eyes light up like the Fourth of July when she saw it. Tears. I’m talking real tears of joy, like I had just gifted her a puppy. Damon the Vampire. On a blanket. Who knew that could cause this level of emotional meltdown? Now, this thing is soft. I’ll give it that. It's like hugging a cloud. But my daughter? She’s taken this whole “Damon” thing to a new level. She sleeps with this blanket every night like it’s some magical force keeping the world together. If Damon isn’t draped over her, apparently, the whole universe collapses. I guess this is how girls deal with their TV crushes these days? Back in my day, we had posters, but now it's blankets? Who knew? So if you have a daughter with an obsession for a vampire and you want to become the “best dad ever” for five minutes, get the blanket. But just be prepared: Damon never leaves her side now. It's like she's dating the guy... but in blanket form. Weird, but hey, if it makes her happy!

Got this for my daughters 11th birthday. It is thin, looks cheaply made and feels it. But it’s cute and as described. If you are looking for high quality and plushness, this is not it. Great just to cover lightly or have at end of the bed.
