Forstner Bit Set 8Pcs - HPHOPE Forstner Bits for Wood, Wood Drilling with Storage Case

These are nice bits for the money. I purchased a set of the green brand from a big box store and they were dull and the center punch will often spin and never cut even with 50 lbs of weight behind them. I also have purchased a few single high end German Forstner bits for specific projects. If the German bits are a 10 and the green brand is a 0, after a few cuts these bits are much closer to the 10 but a fraction of the price. They cut beautifully with a nice flat bottom. They look well made, and hopefully they will hold up with moderate use.Give these bits a try. You can't lose.

These bits got the job done, and luckily I was rounding over the holes so they didn't have to be perfect. But the cut wasn't particularly clean at all. They were $25 for the set so my expectations were about met by these bits. I'd probably get Freud or other high quality bits next time (at a far higher price).

I used the 1 3/8” bit to drill 7 holes in 3/4” oak. I haven’t noticed any dulling and the holes were perfect. Nice storage box also.

They are a good product for the price. I love the storage box.

1/2" bit did not self clear drilling through pine 2x4 had to keep pulling it out and clean out the chips. I was using it to cut holes for wiring in house walls. clean holes but not as easy as it should have been.

I used these bits during my cabinet build project. Got to say that they worked flawlessly for me every time! Highly recommended!

I had to put more pressure on the drill than I would have thought. The diameters are right on though.
